"What?! Noooo! Of course not. Look... the day I gave you your 1st interview, I've already spoken to more than 5 people. 5 can you believe that? All of them were seated in the same area where I was talking to you. The pensive look they have is proof enough that their interviews didn't go as well as yours did." Soul said after I've cornered him to ask about the reason behind my being here tonight. He was eye catching in a light brown blazer with a Versace logo, white slacks, white button down shirt, and light brown leather shoes from Lacoste.

"They were all reluctant to chat with a stranger. Most of them didn't know I was the VP of Syntax. And those that did, either became a nervous wreck, or lost their ability to speak! You on the other hand, didn't have any problem talking to a complete stranger. You broke the ice with a joke, and made me feel comfortable with you." He drank his soda from a paper cup then resumed explaining.

"At Syntax, we talk to strangers on a daily basis. The ability to connect, as well as to put people at ease, is more than pivotal to getting hired... and you demonstrated to me that you have those abilities. And that... is why I gave you a passing mark on your 1st interview. Anything else that followed was out of my control. I had nothing to do what-so-ever in the results of your tests, as well as other interviews... that was all you." Soul smiled to reassure me.

"Hey Soul... excuse me. Didn't mean to interupt, but you said to look for you the minute I got here?" A tall, muscular, ruggedly handsome guy approached us from my left side. He was breathing hard like he just ran a mile.

"Oh good... you're here. Were you able to finish with the transfer proceedure? Did you pass by your uncle's office on your way here? Wait, didn't the Legend account hold a party awhile back?" Soul asked.

"They did... I mean we did. That's the reason I was late comming here. It was a little bittersweet to be honest." His voice was deep and calming I noticed.

"Oh sorry, Babel Sonnet I'd like you to meet Angelo Torre. Around here we call him 'Tower'. Tower meet Babel, one of our new trainees." Soul introduced us to each other.

"Hi." Tower extended his right hand and gave me a firm handshake. "Pleasure." I said smiling. His palm was warm and enveloped my entire hand.

"Oh my god... no way." Soul started smiling from ear to ear. "The perfect pair... Tower of Babel! Why didn't I think of that earlier? It's the perfect plan for me to break Midas' streak of winning luck. Oh you guys need to be a couple... as in right now! We haven't got much time. Relationship status for both of you changes this very minute. From this moment on... you two are a couple!" Soul started patting both Tower's and my shoulder.

"Wait! What?" Tower took a step back from Soul's grip.
"Ah Soul this isn't funny. What's going on here?" I asked a little worried.
