Echo's POV:

I jolted awake and looked at the time. 3:00 AM. I looked to my side and saw Colby laying on the bed. How did I get here?

I removed the covers and left the room. I went towards the kitchen and saw Jon and Joe laying on the floor.

I shook my head at them. I would hate them if one of them left. I left the room and made my way to the roof.

Third POV:

Jon was up and heard Echo leave. He nudged Joe who jumped awake. "What is it?" He asked. "Get Colby up. Echo just left." Jon replied.

Joe nodded and went to get Colby who was awake already. "I know." He told Joe. Jon got the key and waited for them by the door.

Not soon after, Joe and Colby went out the door and Jon locked the door. "She's most likely at the roof." Colby said.

Colby had to tell Echo that he was leaving the Shield to go join the authority and he was nervous.

When they got to the roof they saw Echo sitting at the edge with her feet dangling off the ledge. "Echo I have something to tell you." Colby said.

Echo's POV:

I turned to face everyone. "What is it Colby?" He seemed nervous. "Well... i'm leaving the Shield to go join the Authority."

I looked at Jon and Joe who had a look of shock on their face. To me, that was a huge slap in the face.

"Why Seth?" I asked calling him his ring name. He could tell that I was pissed at him. He didn't answer me.

"How long have you known?" I was glaring at him. "6 months." I looked at the ground. "Goodbye Seth."

I turned around. I'm slowly losing my mind. I need to go to the gym. "I'm going to the gym. Leave me alone." I said as I walked passed everyone.

Jon's POV:

Colby looked torn when Echo called him Seth. He looked at me. "Keep an eye on her Jon." I nodded and went to go find her.

I left and started to walk to the gym. Out of all of us, Echo toke it the hardest. My phone went off and it was April.

J: What?

A: Fucking Echo has gone insane. She's freaking out and she punched me.

I hung up and ran the rest of the way. I walked in and automatically heard screaming and things being hit.

"Hello how can I help you?" I looked at the woman as another scream was heard and a thump. "I'm just going to deal with my friend in there." She nodded and seemed relieved.

I walked in and saw April coming towards me. The entire room is a mess. "Dean get rid off her." I sighed and looked at April.

"We're over." She seemed shocked. "It's about her isn't it?" Before I could answer something comes flying towards us and April runs away.

I looked and saw Echo laughing as April ran. She went to the punching bag and began punching it with no tape or gloves.

She's going to hurt herself. "Hey dude h- oh man." Joe said coming beside me. "Well she's insane."

I was about to tell him off but got stopped by another scream. I looked and saw Echo punching a wall.

"Shit." I said and ran to her. "Echo stop." She didn't. "We have to go to work." Joe said and she stopped and walked past us.

Joe looked at me and seemed concerned. "Did you see the wrap on her arm?" He caught that too. I nodded.

"How long has she had it there?" I shrugged my shoulders not knowing.

Echo's POV:

I walked in and automatically went to Stephanie's office. I knocked first then let myself in. "Ah Echo what do you need?"

"Can you change my stage name to Lunatic Ryder?" She nodded and smiled. "So I take it that Colby told you?" I clutched my fist and nodded.

"Good. Would you like to be part of the Shield?" I slowly nodded not knowing where this is going.

"Okay." She pulled out papers and a pen. "Sign here." She pointed to where i'm supposed to sign and I did.

"Alright here's your script for the match today. It's you against April." I rolled my eyes at this. Of course it's me and April.

I smiled and walked out. Jon was there and was looking at me. "What did she say?" I rolled my eyes. "I'm on the Shield and I have a match with April."

There's something about Jon that draws me in. He nodded and walked me to the dressing room.

"Colby was hurt when you called him his ring name." I rolled my eyes at this. "I honestly don't care Jon. I've been hurt a lot so it doesn't matter."

We walked in and he looked at me. "What do you mean?" I tensed. "I'll tell you later." I said although I won't tell him.

He didn't seem convinced but brought me over to Joe. "We have a new member Joe." Joe turned around and looked at me.

"Welcome to the Shield Echo." I nodded as Jon handed me a vest. Something feels off about this.

"I have to get ready for my match against AJ." I looked at the ground and went and got in my ring gear.

I walked out and looked at Joe and Jon who were looking at me. "Leave me alone." I walked out and found David looking at me.

"What are you doing here?" He looked at me. "They didn't tell you?" I shook my head. "Before your match we have a dance performance."

I sighed and nodded. "I'll be back."
