I woke up with the blaring sound of my alarm. I had the urge to smash my phone. Ugh, after reaching home at almost 1 am. I was not able to fall asleep easily. The thought of being in an official relationship with my childhood sweetheart is almost giving me a heart attack. I looked at my phone and saw a message from Jinan. "I will pick you up for School. Let me know once you are done with breakfast." He ended it with a heart emoji. Shoot! I have to get up now. I still have to tell my Mom about it and make her sign the waiver.
I rushed towards my bathroom. I quickly dried my hair and put on a very light make-up before putting on my school uniform. It's not that I am late. I just want to be well-prepared. I mean its the first time he is picking me up after being officially together. I stepped out of my room and saw my mother ascending the stairs.
"Oh! Now that's new. I was coming up to wake you." She looked at me surprised. "Well, that's good then. Come. Let's have breakfast." She then turned and went back down.
I quickly followed. I saw my sister who is now munching on her cereals. "Slow down Eunjung. You don't want to choke." I laughed.
"So Mom. I need to tell you something. But before that, you need to sign this waiver for the School retreat in 3 weeks. Today is the deadline." I told her as I was putting food on my plate.
"Where are you going Unnie? Can I go with you?" Eunjung asked my while stuffing her face with bread.
"Don't talk when your mouth is full Eunjung." Mother told her. "And besides it's a School activity for your sister. You'll have yours when you grow up." Mom signed the papers as soon as Bertha gave her a pen.
"And mom, Jinan and I are dating now. I mean. He's kinda my boyfriend now." I told my mother as if I was EMINEM. I had to tell her as fast as possible.
"Wow! Unnie! You can rap! You should join a TV show." My sister said while giggling.
"Did she say, she is dating Jinhwan now Bertha? Did I hear things correctly?" Mother asked Bertha with her exaggerated surprised look. I hate it whenever my mom act as if we are in some kind of Gossip Girl TV show.
"Indeed Madame. I'd say it was bound to happen." Bertha dramatically replied to which I rolled my eyes.
My mother laughed which made me give her a questioning look. "It's okay sweetie. As long as you know your limits. And you will still prioritize your studies." She seriously reminded me to which I nodded while taking a bite of my ever favorite bacon and egg sandwich.
"So he is your boyfie now? That cute oppa?" Eunjung asked innocently. This made us all laugh.
"Madame. A letter from New York came. It needed to be signed by you personally. Its said to be court papers." Joseph said cutting in our conversation.
