11 years ago.. (they're 6 & 7)
Who is that? Is he coming towards me? Should I run? "Hi," a kind little voice said. I smiled as did he, "Hi there," I said shyly. He looked me up and down and finally said smiling, "I'm Damon. What's your name?" I hesitated at first, afraid of how he'd react when I told him I had a boy's name. Finally, I said, "I'm Tobi.." I think I was blushing, but I couldn't tell. The boy took a while to reply and I was expecting a negative comment like "Wow, really? You have a boy's name? Ew. Get away," but I got something sweet instead. "Wow, really? That's a cool name," Damon smiled. I smiled at the ground, "Thanks.." That's how we met. A school playground in first grade.. That was already 11 years ago.. Damn. Time flies when you're having fun watching your good looking best friend fight bullies for you. "Toe! Come here! I need you," I heard Damon yell from downstairs. 'I need you..' I wish you needed me like I need you.. "Coming!" I shouted before running to the basement. My jaw dropped as I was walking down the last two steps. Damon was standing there soaking wet, wearing nothing but a towel. He looked so good.. I bit my lip. "Uh.. so.. uh.. What did you need me for..?" I asked, blushing. He smirked, "Never mind. I needed a towel, but I found this one." He pointed to the towel around his waist. I could feel my cheeks turn bright red. I looked away from him, to avoid jumping on his naked wet body. "Well.. I'm gonna uh.. Go shave my horse," I said quickly, trying to think of an excuse before running back upstairs. "You don't have a horse!" Damon called after me, laughing. "I know that!" I yelled down the stairs. I had just seen my best friend practically naked and somehow I didn't die because of how insanely hot he was. Now I sound like every other girl in school, drooling over Damon because he's the hottest guy in school.
