The Guy in Mask (short story)

Chapter 03

Shane's POV

"No.... No.... No.... No....!!??" I shouted in front of the mirror. I am inside a restroom. "It can't be him? Its impossible!!!"

"Don't you dare spread what happened today especially on social media! And just forget that you saw my face!"

"But the way he said those words, he really is worried. I think because he is an artist and he don't want to ruin his name." I keep on talking to myself.

"Aiiishhhh!!!!" While punching my head. "Why I haven't realize that he is an idol? I kept on thinking that he is a criminal.... I hate you, Shane! You are such an idiot! Yes, you really are!!!! You also kicked his handsome face!!! You are so embarrassing, Shane!!?" I'm like crazy talking to myself in front of the mirror

I went back to Yeri after talking to myself like crazy on the restroom.

"What happened to you, Shane? You look like you don't have a soul." Yeri said. "Are you terribly nervous?"

"Yes, I think so." I shortly replied.

"Oh don't be like that, Shane. Fighting!" Yeri cheer for me.

I just smiled slightly and nodded.

"Excuse me, are you Miss Shane?" Asked by a staff.

"Yes I am." I answered.

"Please sit on the front row. The other presenters are there." She said. I followed her and seated in front.

After 5 minutes, the crowd suddenly releases a noise.

"Our guests are here. Let's all welcome, the most popular kpop group in the world, EXO!!!!" said the emcee with a cheerful expression.

I stood up like what others do and clap. This really amazed me. The crowd are cheering in the same word like.... "E.X.O. WE ARE ONE!!! E.X.O. WE ARE ONE!!!!" They are cheering it repeatedly while holding a stick that has light with EXO symbol. I don't know what it call.

"Wow! They really is popular. You are doomed, Shane for what you did to the leader." I whispered.

The members walk out from the van and walk towards the stage.

"Let's all welcome, Chanyeol! D.O.! Baekhyun! Kai! Sehun! Xiumin! Chen! And the very amazing leader, Suho!!!!!!" The emcee said.

"Suho? Is that his name?" I focused on looking at him. Wow he really is so handsome especially without wearing mask. He is so hot wearing tuxedo. Very respectable.

Wait, is his face okay? I really give him my high kick very hard and full of force. I hope he is okay. I really feel sorry for what I did.

But in his look right now, I think nothing happened. His face is perfectly handsome.

When all the group are on the stage, I immediately cover my face with the paper I am holding. It is so embarrassing if he saw me.

Suho's POV

We are standing on the stage with a lot of people watching and supporting us.

"1... 2... 3.... We are one! Hello everyone We are Exo!" We shouted together.

"Hello everyone! We are very happy to be invited in this event today. Its been a long time since we attended an event like this. Thank you so much for inviting us." I said. After our speech, we performed our comeback song which is Love Shot.

"Thank you so much Exo for giving us happiness every time you performs. You may seat on the front with the table. The group will be one of the judges." The emcee said.

We walked down the stage but someone caught my attention. A girl covering her face with a paper. Why is she covering her face? I noticed her rubber shoes. Those shoes are familiar. Yes, it is. Its the same as the girl's shoes who kicked me yesterday!

Don't tell me its her?

I just stare at her until she slightly looked at me and I'm surprised that it confirms that it was her.

Shane's POV

I was surprised that he is totally staring at me while they walks toward the guest's chairs.

He recognized me. I know it through his stares that's why I just put down the paper I was holding and properly seated. I just ignored him as do as I can.

Wait, if he is one of the judges, he will probably give me low scores for what I did to him. Oh no!!!??? I must do something.... But wait, maybe he also saw my photography skills through my captures scenery on the memory card. It will help. But, I should present those photos so that the other judges would see too.

After the two presenters, my name was called. I felt nervous. I think I will fail in this contest.

I am now on the stage and in front of so many people and the judges. I am avoiding on looking at Suho because I know I did wrong to him.

"Please give me the memory card of your camera Miss Shane". Said the operator.

When I was about to give the memory card, Suho suddenly stood up and said....

" Excuse me. I found a memory card on the floor when she stood up. I think this is hers."

I am surprised for what he did. Did he just helped me? He gave the memory card to the operator and looked at me with a slight smile.

Oh my god!!! Did he just smiled at me? Is he not angry at me?

I started explaining the photos I presented. Every presenter will present three photos and explain why we chose it.

The final photo that I presented was the photo of the sunrise with Suho but they didn't recognized him on the photo..

I'm so happy because my presentation ended up successfully.
