why me??

Another hard day. My dad always yelling at me, my dad hitting me. I have to go to work where I get treated like shit there too. I am constantly taking out the trash and doing the dishes. But I'm in so much pain after my father hit/kicks me. I walk down the street. And walk into tender greens. I start doing the dishes when I realize it's only me and like two other people.  So I have to run the cash register.  I hear the dishes g and I walk up front where I see to guys walk in. They both have cameras.  Hmmmmmm. Must be youtubers.
"Hi welcome to tender greens low many people?"
"Just two please." They both kinda have floppy hair but one has it kinda in a fringe.  And the other had his in a quiff.
I set them up with a table and give them menus.  I walk back to the kitchen and rinse off my hands. I head back out to the kitchen and ask them if they are ready to order. SHIT!!! I forgot to ask if they wanted something to drink.
"I'm so sorry I forgot to ask what you wanted to drink." I almost start crying.
"Hey it's fine. But I'll have a lemonade and he'll have a beer."
I walk back and get there drinks.
"Ok now are you ready to order?" They order and I give the paper to the cooks.

{Colbys pov}

Wow she's so gorgeous.  I read her name tag. Mya. Beautiful name. I look at her face to see that she has a bruise. What the hell. She takes us to a table and walks off but soon ones back. Because she is freaking out.
"I'm so sorry I forgot to ask what you  wanted to drink." She is nearly in tears.

Hey it's fine. But I'll have a lemonade and he'll a beer."
"Ok now are you ready to order?"
We order and she walks off.
"Dude" brennan says.
"What"
"Did you see that nasty bruise on her face? She looks like 20 maybe."
"Yea I saw"
As we are talking we hear yelling and screaming.
"The kitchen is engulfed in flames!!" And I see people run out so we all run. Out. I look around and I don't see mya.
"Mya!!"
She must be inside.

{myas pov}

I went to clean up some rags when I hear one of the cooks yell that the kitchen is on fire. So I grab the fire extinguisher and try to put it out but it's too big and I have really bad asthma.  I can't breath. I try to run out but I can't. And one of the racks fall on me. Trapping my frail body. "Help!!"
Everything goes black.

{Colbys pov}

I run back in the restaurant and run to the kitchen. I see a fire extinguisher near her. And she's unconscious.  I drag out from under the rack and pick her up bridal style. And I carry her limp body outside. Where I see police and paramedics waiting.  I place her on the stretcher. And ask what hospital she is going to. I leave brennan and follow the truck to the hospital. 

{Myas pov}

I hear the sounds of beeping all around me. So I go to open my eyes a d see that I'm in a hospital.  I have an oxygen mask on my face. I just cry.

"Ms Nicholson you have a visitor "
Who the hell would visit me. But I  walks the boy fro. Tender greens the o e with the camera.
"Hi I'm Colby. "
I just stare confused.
"I didn't see you come out of the restaurant so I went back in and saved you. When I found you you were unconscious on the floor.
" oh yeah I was trying to put out the fire but it didn't work and I have really bad asthma so I guess the smoke was just too much for me and I tried to get out but the rack fell on me and so I couldn't move and I just couldn't breathe."
"Jesus...."
So we took this time to get to know each other.
"So you graduate and a few weeks?"
"Yea I don't know what I'm going to do after that. I mean thank the gods that that horrible Place burned down I got treated like s*** there everyday I mean I guess I think that also makes it worse is having to go home to an abusive father who drinks all the time but he's only like that when he's drunk which is nearly all the time"
"Why doesn't your mom stop him?"
" well it started when he lost his beloved job and when he had that job he was always happy he was good with life you know he had everything that he needed a beautiful daughter gorgeous wife and then as soon as he lost that job he changed and he started to drink and he always came home late at night and he beat my mother before he would come beat me or he would beat me when she was gone and she would never actually know until the day when I found her in the bathroom.  Arms bled out. Pills on the floor. Her body pale in the bathtub drowning."
Then he hugged me. It was a sweet hug. And he smells good. Before you know it I'm crying.
"I'm sorry"
" mya you seem to be good to go"
I nod.
"Hey how about you come hang out at my place"
"Ok"
And that is where we head. We drive to his house and when we pull up I see this beautiful house.
"Um I'm gonna warn you now that my roommates are a.... a bit crazy." I just giggle.
"How crazy"
"Well let's see" and he opens the door. Immediately two dogs surround me. I tiny brow dog and a big black dog.
"Hi babies. Aren't you guys adorable"
"The black one is navi and the other one is buddy." I get back up and he walks me through the house.
