I fell in love with my Bestfriend!

Part one

"ALEXANDRINE ELIZABETH WEATHERMEN GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE WRITE NOW" my dad screamed. I got up from my bed and walked down the stairs."Yes dad?" I asked nervously. Me and my dad never get along. He's always drunk and yelling at me for stupid things."Why are you here you are supposed to be at school" he slurred. I starred at him oddly "dad its summer" I replied. "OK well then go to your room" he slurred again I rolled my eyes and followed his request. Once I got to my room I closed my door and called my bestfriend Matthew Johnson.

It only took two rings to answer. "Hey Lexie what up" he asked. " Hey you wanna hangout dad is the only one home so there's nothing to do" I blabbed on and on." Yea sure be ready in 15 minutes" Matt said. " Yup" I said right back. 12 minutes later I was dressed in Hollister shorts,a bright green tank top,and sperrys. As soon as I was going to  the door my dad  my dad stopped me "Where are you going" he asked. I rolled my eyes and turned around "Out with my friend" I casually responded. "What friends you don't have none" he slurred. "Just like you don't have a life" I muttered to myself. "Oh well you be back bye curfew" he said. "Will do" I say. I waited outside for 10-15 minutes before matt showed up. "Sorry I'm late" Matt said with an innocent smile. "Yea whatever" I smiled back. Once I got in his car I turned his radio from some weird rock music to my 5sos album I still haven't took out of his car since spring break. As soon as my favorite song amnesia came on Matt turned it up and we both stared sing the verse " I remember the  the day you told me you were leaving" Matt sang. "I remember the makeup running down your face." I sang back. " I wish that I could wake up with amnesia and forgery about the stupid little things." we both sang."We are dorks" Matt said after laughing. "Yes yes we are" I giggled. A few minutes later we were at the carnival. "So what ride do you wanna ride first" I asked Matt. "I picked the carnival I call dibs on you picking" he smiled down at me. I glared at him and pointed at the teacups he hates that ride."Really Lexie I hate things that spin." Matt groaned. "I know that's way I picked it." I said smiling up at him. He frowned and took my hand leading me towards the ride. On our way to the teacups I got a call from my mom "hello" I said into the speaker. "Hi, honey what's up?" she asked. "Um, I'm at the fair with Matt why?" I questioned. "I was just going to tell you I'm going to dinner with your dad and I love you" she responded. "OK love ya to, have fun, and be safe" I said. "Will do" she said

"OK well bye" I say

"Bye love you"

"Love ya to" I say back hanging up. "What was that?" Matt asked

"Oh my moms going to dinner with my father" I said

"Oh ok" he said relived that something else was not wrong.
