Long Siye was very thoughtful in his actions. He found a man and a woman who resembled their physical appearances. All he had to do was knock them out and place them in the prison cell and Gu Xijiu's room respectively. He even let Gu Xijiu change their appearances.

The man in the prison cell was made to look like Long Siye. He was handcuffed and made to lean against the wall. He seemed like he was either meditating or contemplating.

When Long Siye was imprisoned, there was hardly anyone who came to visit. In fact, there was hardly anyone there at all. Therefore, no one would even notice the difference.

The woman in Gu Xijiu's room was placed on her bed to appear as though she was deep in her sleep. Thus, no one would disturb her for the time being.

Everything was in place without any flaws. Both of them stormed out of the room boldly. The guards along their way had even greeted them politely without any second guesses.

While they were walking past the pyramid building, Gu Xijiu paid particular attention to it and noticed that only four guards were securing the entrance. The place was a restricted area, so there was no one else around.

They were supposed to walk straight past it, but Gu Xijiu suddenly changed her course and went towards the direction of the pyramid. Long Siye was surprised, so he sent a directed audio to her. "What are you doing?"

Gu Xijiu was direct. "I am driven by curiosity. Let's take a look."

Gu Xijiu had briefly measured the time since Mo Zhao had left. It was less than an hour. She overheard his instructions to his followers that he would be away for at least a day and would be back in three days at the latest. Thus, she was not concerned that he would show up anytime soon.

Long Fan was so absorbed in his research that he had been neglecting his sleep and meals. He would work round the clock and would not leave his place for long intervals. Therefore, they could afford to deviate from their primary plan.

Although Long Siye was thoroughly confused, he followed her steps without speaking another word.

"Leader Xia and Leader Zhang, why are you here?" The four guards were perplexed by their sudden visit.

Smilingly, Gu Xijiu responded, "The Great Lord is away, and the defense here is strongly fortified. You may take a break now. I can see that you must have had a long day. I can show you something fun that I have recently learned to help you kill time."

The four of them had been guarding the same place almost every day. They stood still with nothing else to do, and their boredom was indeed becoming unbearable. They certainly would not take a break from their job while the Great Lord was present, but with their leader's reassuring words, they would happily accept her request.

They spoke and acted as though they were reluctant, but their eyes were already locked on Gu Xijiu, waiting for her to show them what she mentioned.

Gu Xijiu took out a stack of cards and was about to teach them a new way to play. While they were having fun, Gu Xijiu tried to find out about the interior of the building by asking them seemingly casual questions. They were unfortunately unaware of it. They just knew that Long Fan and the Great Lord placed a high emphasis on this building, so only they had access to the building. It was impossible for others to enter.
