"You did what?" Seulgi's eyes widened in horror — mouth slightly opened, gasping as she tried to inhale more oxygen into her brain. Processing the bitter truth that Wendy had just told her. No. It wasn't a fluttering confession like you'd expect to get on Valentine's Day. This one was a bitter truth when Wendy might send a chocolate and love letter to DJ Def under her name.

Alright? Who is this DJ Def?
Def is a radio announcer. He had this soothing, alluring voice that Seulgi been crushing for months. When Seulgi first listened to Sunrise Radio, it was more like an accident? She was in the boredom for waiting the rain stop, and Sunrise Radio was there — playing her favorite song and made her stay tuned for a while, listening her favorite soundtrack movie, A Waltz For A Night from Before Sunrise.

She was planning to change the station as soon the song finished but she couldn't bring herself to do it when she heard Def's voice come filling her ears. It's weird isn't it — to falling in love with someone just based on his voice? Okay, it wasn't only his voice actually — after listening to Sunrise Radio for a month, this DJ Def really had great taste in music and movies. The great one where Seulgi found herself liking them too, and maybe him.

When Wendy knew her little crush on this DJ Def, Wendy tried to encourage her to encounter him in real life. Like watching one of his radio live from the open studio where they always do once in a month. But Seulgi never found a courage to do that. There were many of what ifs in her mind; what if she only make a fool of herself when she meets him? what if dj def would only look at her like him to his other fans? yeah, Seulgi was also aware on how popular Def amongst girls around her age and more. What was they say again — ah, right ! It's better to keep a certain distance from your fantasy. Because not all your fantasy as good as its look from a far. When you get closer it might be a burden and overwhelmed you.

But here was Seulgi, out of breathe, trying to catch her breathe in Sunrise Radio Lobby Hall. Her monolid eyes took a quick lap — looking for a certain man with many boxes, a delivery man to be specific. And she found him, well not entirely sure if he was a delivery man — but she assumed so, based on the boxes he had in his hands.

"Excuse me! Where are—oh! Thank God, it hasn't delivered yet! Can I take those?" Seulgi didn't even bother to introduce herself when her eyes caught the sight of a bright orange box amongst the pink and red one. Wendy sure knew how to play a joke on her. Orange just like her nickname. Well, her high school's nickname because her friends associated her with orange, the fruit. Said that she was like their vitamin because of her cheery aura and positive mind.

"This?"

Seulgi blinked, snapped back from her thoughts when she heard a familiar voice. She tried to remember whose the owner of that voice — but maybe, because of the presence of adrenaline in her system, she couldn't even bother to think hard about the voice. All she wanted to do was securing the orange box before it got to the receiver.

"Yeah. Long story — but my friend plays a prank and send them on my behalf."

"Oh, you're the Kang Seulgi?" that man sported a cheeky smile, and somehow it got to Seulgi's nerves. Like it was trying to alarming her about something that she couldn't put.

"I—am. Aren't you the delivery guy though?"

"Am I look like one?" and that's it — like a train, it hit her all in sudden. Quick and loud. His voice and his intonation were too familiar in her ears — matching with the owner of a man that she's been crushing for these past months.

"I'm Jaebum — or also goes by Def. The receiver of your chocolate."

"Shit."
