💎... The Next Morning ...

The tiny orphan quietly yawned and rubbed his eyes gently. He looked down at his teddy, still at his side. He smiled gently and cuddled it closer to himself.

🌸Alisha wasn't in the room, not even a wolf as-well as the room was extremely dark and the only source of light was a few candles near the bed

There was a glass of water on the nightstand and what looks to be a very small cookie, all that he could hear from the outside was the distant thunder and rain that banged against the wall of the castle furiously

💎Volk sat up in the bed nervously. He wasn't very comfortable in the dark, although he felt much safer than at the orphanage

He stared at the glass and the cookie and apprehensively scooted over to them, debating whether he should take them

"A-Are those for me... or for her?" he asked himself softly as he gently picked up the glass

"W-Well... if they were hers, she probably wouldn't have left them in here with me..."

He looked around carefully, and sniffed the cookie, checking for any unhealthy agents. He slowly began to nibble the cookie, holding his other hand under it to catch any crumbs

🌸Suddenly a black smoke came unto the room from under the door and as it entered the room, the wolf that was nice to you appeared from the smoke and like last time he sat next to the door, guarding.

This time looking at the floor and his body wasn't relaxed like last time, but slightly shaking and he let out a very quiet whimper like he was in pain

💎The boy's eyes widened softly as he saw the same glint in the Wolf's eyes as he saw before—he knew it was the same wolf

"M-Mr Wolf?" he spoke quietly, as to avoid garnering unwanted attention, "What's wrong?"

🌸The wolf limped up to him and rested his head on the small boy's lap, he spoke in a quiet timid whisper

"T-They... They b-bully me, the o-other wolves... t-they hurt me a-a lot..."he says as he closes his eyes which allows a deep cut across his eye to be seen more clearly, he whined in pain loudly and looks up at the boy, not like the other wolves who looked at him with hunger he looked at him with care and interest

💎The purple child gasped softly and looked at the cut with concern and care

"You poor thing..." he whispered back in a similar fashion. "I-I understand your pain... I was bullied too..."

He sighed softly and held his hands close to his body

"I-I-I don't understand why they'd do that... you seem very strong—I-I for one, w-w-wouldn't dare make fun of you-"

The boy sighed again, wishing that he had a first-aid kit for the wolf

🌸The wolf let out another whine and got up on the bed, he curled up into a ball and rested his head on his lap

"...You're the first person master has ever let survive.... Why were you chosen....?"he says with a quiet whimper and looks up at the boy softly

💎The boy softly gulped and shuddered some more as he stared shyly at the wolf, a bit more frightened than he was before

"I-I-I don't know..." he replied nervously. "I'm still wondering that myself.... I don't know who she is or why she came to the orphanage... why she took me...i-ironically I feel safer here than at the orphanage--"
