Another Year at Hogwarts, (HP new generation)

Chapter 2; The Hogwarts Express

Lily, Fred and Roxanne walked through the train trying to find an empty carrige but everywhere just seemed to be full, finally with no other option they piled into a cabin with Albus, Rose and Scorpious who were now 3rd years at Hogwarts.

"Seriously Lily?" questions Albus.

"Well sorry everywhere else was full so unless you want to magic up another carrige at the end of the train then I'll guess your stuck with us" said Lily as she wedged herself in a seat at the window beside Scorpious. Even though he was a year older than her Lily and Scorpious had been friends for years and they were very close.

"Where's Dominique?" Roxanne asked,

"She prefers more mature company apparantly, or so she told us when we invited her in" replied Rose.

"I don't care if she's my cousin" said Fred "she's a right prat so she is".

"Oh come on you all know its because she fancies Teddy Lupin!" Lily said as a matter of factly.

The carridge became tense as everyone knew Teddy was sensitive subject for Rose, she had liked him for years and it was blatantly obvious to anyone with eyes...well everyone except Teddy who had also seen Rose as a friend not a lover. The tension led to a game of exploding snap between Fred and Albus, and hushed coversation between Roxanne and Rose. Which left Lily daydreaming and scorpious levitating his quill much to the irritation of Rose.

About 10 minutes passed befor Hugo Weasley knocked on the door...

"Cabins full Hugo" sighed Rose.

"I know that, I have eyes don't I?" turning to Lily he said "James wants you".

"Ok." Lily hopped out of her seat and walked behind Hugo into the fourth years cabin and when James saw her he came out into the corridor and said

"Bad news Lil".....and he handed her a letter in her mothers handwriting,

Dear Lily,

I'm so sorry honey but we have just been informed that your trunk had been left on the platform. Your father and I have contacted Professer McGonagall and your trunk will be sent to you as soon as possible but it could take a few days. I'm sure Rose will lend you some robes and the school can give you the Gryfindor tie and anything else until you get your belongings.

"Oh no!" excalimed poor Lily.

James patted her on the back and she walked back to her cabin. She told her friends about her trunk and Rose being a good older cousin agreed to lend her a robe or two.
