Lucy POV ☄️

It hurts. It hurts so much that I can't explain it.

I was gonna hear him out, listen to why he let Lisanna kiss him.

But when he did I felt torn apart.

James was right, he's not worth it.

"Lu-Chan..." Levy hugged me tightly, "I'm so sorry."

I felt tears brim my eyes as I hugged her back. "T-thank you so much Levy," I poured all my feelings into that hug. I couldn't put it into words but I was so grateful for Levy.

"Ah—Lu-Chan I love you bestie," she said so softly I barely heard her.

"I love you too,"

Juvia and Erza showed up and I told them what had happened.

"I'm so sorry if only we hadn't been so drunk we could have been there. I'm so horrible," Erza said, tears coming from her eyes.

"Erza no need to cry—" I began.

"No—No! I need to let it all out. Me and Jellal—Jellal have been having problems." She stammered.

"What happened?!" Juvia asked, shocked to see Erza in tears.

"He said he needed to handle some things and I asked what things but he wouldn't tell me. He's been gone for 2 days.." I gasped and so did Juvia and Levy.

"Erza, you could have told us.." I hugged her.

"Gray-Sama is very distant." Juvia said her eyes now brimming with tears too.

"You guys were so close at the party." The mention of the party made me feel a huge lump in my throat. Levy went on, "what happened?"

"He ditched me to beat up Natsu at the party and Juvia was fine with that but then I couldn't find him. So, after the party was over I looked for him but he was gone. So Juvia had to walk home by herself. When I saw him this morning he just walked right past me.."
Juvia sounded as though she was gonna cry.

"Oh guys...I'm so sorry," Levy said, giving us sympathetic looks.

"Gajeel is very lucky. You've changed him a lot. He used to be very cruel and so was I." Juvia smiled slightly. Levy blushed.

"Hey guys...remember James?" I asked timidly.

Levy nodded, "That guy that wants to marry you," Juvia and Erza nodded.

"Well, I think I'm gonna do it." They gasped.

"Lucy! We are still in high school, marriage is a huge step," Erza lectured.

"I understand that but I have to admit that I did have a crush on James for a while. And we could get married after I graduate." I looked away from them as I went on, "Plus, I wanna move on."

Juvia grabbed my hand gently and softly said, "Lucy, you can't force your self to fall in love with someone. It takes time to truly fall in love.."

I smiled and nodded.

"Gihi, wassup guys!" Gajeel walked in, grinning like an idiot, "Yo' bunny girl you alright? Natsu's a real idiot. Next time I see him I'll beat some sense into him,"

"Thanks Gajeel," I smiled slightly. I smiled even wider when he gave Levy a peck on the cheek.

"Lucy, I'm so glad you changed your mind..I've missed you." James smiled and I smiled back.

"Yeah, me and Natsu broke up.." his eyes widened. And he gave me a sympathetic look but I could tell he couldn't contain his joy.

"I'm so sorry to hear that," I simply shook my head.

"It's fine," He grinned and pulled me into a hug. His mansion was huge and his living room was the size of my whole apartment. His warmth felt different from Natsu's, it was comforting.

"Hey lu?"

"Yeah?"

"Why are you really here..?" His look of joy was gone. Making me frown.

"I want to move on, I think you can help me with that."

"Of course, I understand." Did he really? Nah. Nobody could understand how unstable I felt. Natsu was still in love with Lisanna, something I was deeply afraid would happen.

"I wanna marry you.." his eyes widened like saucers.

"Is it really a surprise?" I whispered softly. James always has wanted me. Since we were kids he would hit on me and for a while I returned those feelings.

"Your still in high school—" he began but I put a finger to his lips to quiet him. He blushed.

"After I graduate,marry me."
