Hi, how are my wonderful readers doing today?💜 Happy Valentines Day to everyone! Raise your hand if you were alone and ate ice cream while watching Netflix? 🤚🏻🤚🏻🤚🏻
Here's another chapter, I really hope you'll like it. A lot of things are happening in this one. (It's to make up with my boring life) 😂💜
-------------
Jeongguk and Taehyung had spent the whole afternoon together, forgetting about the classes they should have been in. They had first talked about V's story, from the beginning to the end, as in right now, in college. Jeongguk had already heard about how Namjoon and Taehyung met but it was good to hear it from his childhood friend's point of view. He now understood why the relationship between the two idols was strong. Namjoon helped Taehyung when the latter thought no one would. He was lost, had just arrived in another city and had just left a huge part of his life behind. Jeongguk was happy to know that his childhood friend didn't spend much time alone and locked up in his own thoughts and problems. He also felt relieved that he didn't stop doing what he loved when everything seemed to be against him. He continued to create music and even used the sadness and anger he had to write beautiful verses.
They also talked about how many sleepless nights Taehyung spent, thinking about the party event, how many times he dreamt about the same thing and how many times Namjoon went to his rescue and hugged him to help him sleep peacefully. Jeongguk knew that the rapper was an extraordinary human but knowing that he sacrificed the majority of his alone and relaxation times to help Taehyung going through his past only add in the things that made Namjoon a superhero in Jeongguk and also Taehyung's eyes. He understood why those two were now so close.
And then, went a moment where it was Jeongguk's turn to speak about his last few years. To the contrary of Taehyung, nothing really incredible had happened in his life, so he was a little shy about telling his childhood friend things, even though he knew the singer would never judge. Jeongguk told him about his graduation and the party that Seokjin threw him to celebrate it. He had been honest with the idol and had told him it wasn't the same without him. He explained that during the celebration, Jin and him had spent most of the time in a room, talking to each other and mostly talking about where Taehyung was or what was he doing at the moment. It was also at this celebration party that the two boys had decided to move on and forget about their friend, thinking they would never see him again. As Jeongguk was explaining this to Taehyung, the older let out few tears, feeling bad and sad that his two old friends had kept him in their mind for almost three years before giving up. He didn't know he counted that much for them, didn't know they would be so depressed about his sudden departure. He felt bad and Jeongguk had sensed it.
They had spent another hour of their time together, hugging each other, mostly Jeongguk trying to reassure Taehyung that everything would be fine and that Seokjin and him weren't mad. The two boys also started a tickling fight when Jeongguk threatened Taehyung to stop putting himself down if he didn't want him to tickle him. The laughs of the singer were heard everywhere in the room and maybe even on the floor but they didn't care. The both of them had to take back four years of their lives without each other so the opinion of the others weren't important to them at this moment.
After what seemed like hours of laughing and being out of breath, they decided to take a break, laying on Namjoon's bed and staring at the ceiling. The boys started to talk about their childhood memories, such as their movie parties, the trips they were all doing together and the countless nights they spent out in the open to stare at the stars and creating diverse stories they made with constellations they thought they saw.
It was finally time for Taehyung to leave when they, for the first time, looked at the clock hanging on the wall. The two boys had homework and projects to do for school so they both left the room, Taehyung going to his dorm and Jeongguk heading to the library to work on his things.
