“Nope, not ready! Why the hell did I think I was ready! I don’t want to die today!” You shouted in extreme panic, narrowly dodging a robot’s blow.

You blew a gust at the 2-pointer robot to no avail;  it didn’t move.

‘Shit’ you thought to yourself, ‘How am I supposed to take these things down?’ You felt the concrete hit your bottom as the robot pounded over you. You exhaled, forming a thick wall of air in between you and the robot. This gave you a second as you rolled away under your shield as it broke. You breathed in was seemed like a gallon of air and saw it as you stood up.

‘An exhaust pipe!’

You ran up. As the robot reached to strike you, you dropped to the ground and slide below it, exhaling air and solidifying it in the pipe. Rolling up, you spirited away from the robot, pain searing your back. A sudden wave of heat hits you as the robot explodes.

‘With the exhaust pipe clogged the gas has nowhere to escape, building pressure until it's too much.’

Heavily panting, you stopped to catch your breath bringing in more oxygen into your body trying to keep yourself from hyperventilating. The pain on your back fully set in from your burned off skin and spread like a fire.

‘It hurt; it hurt so bad.’ Tears welled up in your eyes as you tried to shake away the sensation. You calmed down, pushing through it. After about five seconds you realized ‘Shit I’m wasting time,’ and ran off down an alleyway. Pugging up robots in you path.

‘That’s 53 points.’

“AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!”

The scream rang through your ears, piercing your skull with the terror in the voice. Your feet moved, running in direction of the shriek into another street. There was a small boy lying on the ground with a robot looming over him. You ran over, breathing heavily as the robot began to slam its arm down to attack the boy. You skidded to a stop in front of the attack, exhaling and forming another wall of air to protect him as he regained consciousness. Time moved in slow motion as you felt the wall crack as the robot bared its punch down, utterly shattering your shield. You got flung back, over the boy and into the building behind him. You inhaled but found that no air was coming in. Your vision began to black near the edges and your conscious was fading. Looking through the ever-closing tunnel of your vision you saw and felt the heat of an explosion.

‘It was warm and soothing.’

??? POV

“DIEEEEEE!!!!!”

I utterly obliterated another two bagger. ‘77 points, Hell Yeah.’

“BUZZZZ! The test is know over!”

...

I heard some shitty small fry whining in the corner.

“Oi! Shut Up!” I glared in his direction hoping to get him to quit crying and bugging me.

“B-but that girl, s-she saved me!” He nodded in the general direction of the building, drooling.

‘Creepy fucker. What the hell is he staring at.’ My eyes traced in that direction to see a girl, passed out with clothing torn, in a crater in the building.

‘Fuck is she okay..? Wait a minute’ I stepped closer to her examining her, ‘That bitch from earlier!’ I grabbed her by collar of her shirt, slightly lifting her off the ground.

“Who the HELL do you think YOU ARE to talk to me that FUCKING WAY?” I shook her trying to get her to open her shitty eyes.

Nothing

I looked down and felt my face heat up as I realized her torn shirt exposed her bra.

‘Hold on…’ I continued to look, ‘It wasn’t moving.’ Panic set in as the sudden realization came in,

she wasn’t fucking breathing.’

“SHIT.”

I laid her down on the ground and looked back to the small fry, who was staring at her with hungry eyes.

“Stop staring at her you little shit, and hurry and get a fucking doctor!”

I diverted my attention to the girl, tilting up her neck to open her airway. I pinch her nose and make contact with her mouth, giving her two rescue breaths… Still nothing. ‘Fuck... Fuck.. Fuck!’ I put my hands on her sternum, starting chest compressions.

...

‘...13, 14, 15.’ I attempted two more rescue breaths, and felt her move. With her eyes still closed, I put my hand in front of her nose and mouth to feel for breathing. A wave of relief washed over me; ‘You stupid bitch, worrying me… Wait what did I just think?’ Shaking away my thoughts I looked at her, ‘she looked so peaceful and delicate.'

The sound of running broke my trance. I picked her up and began to walk her towards the running paramedics.

‘Why are you so light?’
