"Nghhhhhhhhh" you groaned, quite annoyed of the constant notification sounds. You sit up yawning as you slide your phone off your drawer and into your hand.

"Gtfo bitch. Anyways I'm so excited! Your finally coming to live with me in LA!"

"Of course I'm excited! I haven't seen you in 6 years! Since momma and dad parted..."

I finished packing all of my belongings ready for the future hours ahead of me. My parents, they divorced years ago and each took one kid between me and my sister. After all the bullshit passed, I never got to see my best friend; my sister. She lived in LA with my mom meanwhile I lived in Arizona. My dad was to busy to care for me and finally gave me up to my mother. Nine, I was nine and my sister was 12 when we parted.
After packing everything I was to take with me, I picked up my backpack full of regular belongings for the way over. Phone, headphones, portable ect. My dad drives me to the airport. We stopped by somewhere early to have our last breakfast time together. After the hour, we continued to the airport soon arriving.
Hours pass and it's time for my flight. My dad hugs me tightly "I'm going to miss ya kiddo. Those six years of fun and memories we made, I'm going to miss it all and continued into my working world." He sighed. I hugged him back tightly and walked into the plane getting set and such.
"Fucking liar" I thought. My dad was trying to be sympathetic, but he really didn't care. I know he didn't. All the years I've been living with him, he always ignored me and forced me to do things on my own. My mother wasn't like that. She actually tried to Make things right, she actually did small things for me and my sister like a regular mother would.
"Goodbye sweetheart!" My dad yelled from across the room as I walked into the plane ignoring the man who I will never have to see again. An hour into the plane, I got pretty bored. Their wasn't much to do so I slept most of the time.

Games
Movie
Sleep Repeat
Seven and a half hours later....
I arrived in California in an airport in Los Angeles. Getting off and giving a thanks to the workers, I see my mom and sister. My sister had fallen asleep and my mother was on her phone. I stepped forward towards them and whispered "Hey mom, hey Aliyah". My mother looked up at me for a second and jumped up to hug me.
"Ahhhh! Sweetheart! I missed you so so so much!" She squealed. My sister had stood as well with a huge smile upon her face; "Sis! I missed you to the max!" She giggled. "Let's go home my baby's" my mother stated, getting a hold of one of my suitcases and walking forward with my sister behind.
Time skip to when y'all get home.
I step into my moms house in amazement. "You really didn't need dad for shi- crap" you said correcting yourself before u were smacked. Your mother giggled and walked up the stairs gesturing for you to follow. "Haha, I really didn't. Well!" She said, stepping into a big room "this is all yours! Not much but it's something" she chuckled.
"Not much? Mom this is enormous compared to my last room! Thank you!" You said hugging your mom. "Alright, me and Aliyah will leave you to settle in. I'm going to make dinner." She left.
It was 4:38 pm and you had placed some clothes in already set drawers, shoes in a rack set along with a queen bed set with (your favorite colored) bed sheets. At around 5:10, your mom stepped inside; "food almost ready. And I'll take you out soon to buy more clothes and room decors if you'd like." She suggested "I'd love that."
It was Sunday and you had gotten your clothes out for school the next day. Your first day into a new high School. Stone brook high.
You ran downstairs and sat on a stool beside a counter as your mother placed a plate of spaghetti and bread in front of you. "Thanks mom!" You exclaimed, starting to get more comfortable already. "You excited for school tomorrow hun?" Your mom asked.
"Yeah! I'm gonna meet new kids! Be able to start a whole life over again..." You ranted. Your mother and sister laughed together "I love the fact how your not overly quiet or anything" your sister stated.
After dinner was over, you gave your mom a kiss, (On the cheek damn🤥) gave her your plate to wash and ran back up to your room. Placing up more things inside your bathroom, clothing rack and bed and such, you turned on your tv that was in front of your bed. You showered early, changed and did a night routine; face wash and headed to your bed to begin your first night. You placed in (your favorite movie) and began to watch it till you feel into a dreamless sleep.
A/n; Jesus 🤥 I'm finally done with this chapter!! I will begin the next one very soon. Sorry for any miss corrections and such! I will edit this later 🐙 I wrote this after hw and during ELA lmaooo and since I'm not allowed to use my phone, my teacher walked past me and didn't see 😂 I almost had a heart attack sksksksk
