Oh crap.
Gentlemen, guests from the upper world, servants, people of power, supervisors, Dukes, governors, a king, a queen, a prince, a little princess and an almighty Lord.
All staring at me.
Sweet little me.What do I do??
Lower my head? No, that's inappropriate I clearly saw them staring. What else!
I look at the prince and find what seemed like a sympathetic look in his blues.
Sympathy won't help now, crap you!
So I look to the other person to blame for me being in this troublesome situation, he had absolutely nothing in his greenish blue eyes.
But I keep looking anyway, he is doing that thing he has been doing while he was giving a talk earlier, he is rubbing his thumb over his index finger in a slow, repeated motion, the hand performing that motion is on the table, his head is slightly turned towards me, he is sitting comfortably on his chair, the textbook is in his other hand on his lap, as for his eyes they now are in somewhere in between my waist and the skirt of the dress.
He seems so in love with our maid outfit.
His eyes continue traveling upward until it reached my own.
Our eyes lock together for seconds until I tried to send him a sos message with my eyes, which he seems to completely ignore, that or he just didn't get it at all.
Soon I was proved wrong.
His Lordship cleared his throat, not even loudly, but all heads were immediately turned to him.
'I hope you're all finished' He said while opening his textbook.
'We have to get to work' He closed the textbook again rasing his head looking at every one, nobody moved.
'Gentlemen, we don't have all day' He hurriedly stood up, they weren't late to follow with a low yes murmured by each one, they were all on his heels before you could blink.
He moved in fast, measured steps towards the exit, then out of nowhere a huge man came in took his Lordship's textbook and gave him his suit jacket, then followed him.
And with that they were out.
And servants stood in awe, seemingly still in the haze of his inhuman quickness, just as I was.Even ma Mia seemed a little flustered, but that didn't stop her.
'You young miss, are in big trouble' She said
Crap! When I had just thought we'd decided to stay friends, trouble dosen't seem to want to let go of me.
'Why? What happened ma?' I said fluttering my lashes in an attempt to look innocent but not succeeding much.
'Do not play innocent, I saw everything, you were stealing glanced at his highness the prince'.
'No, not at all ' if I've learnt anything here it was not to say more than a few words when you know you're lying, so basically I've learnt how to be the perfect liar.
'A_Are you saying the truth?' She said.
See? Told ye.
'Yes ma I really didn't, I'm sure the prince was spacing out and they were just curious where he was looking.' I said the first thing I thought when he first started his staring.
'Well, that makes sense'. She said rubbing her neck in thoughts.
'Dosen't it' I said making it more of a statement than a question, hiding laughes from ma Mia was one of the harder things I had to learn.
