The next day Dock and Shalin made their way to Drade's cell in the holding area where they found Drade laying on her back with both legs crooked up on the bed, one arm tucked behind her head while the other laid across her stomach. The duo's footsteps radiated off the stone floor drawing Drade's attention causing the red head to turn her head towards the door but little more than that.
"Hello Drade" Dock greeted first coming up to the bars
"How are you feeling?" Shalin asked coming up behind Dock
"Fine however I could be better if you'd let me out of this trap and take this blasted collar off of my neck," Drade tried
"Well that's sort of why we're here," Dock stated instantly gaining a little more attention from the young woman.
"Well, it's about time you came to your senses," Drade cooed sitting up then swinging her legs to the side before pushing up off the stone bed.
"Ah...before any deal is struck we need to clear somethings up," Shalin stated
"Such as?" Drade asked eyeing Shalin suspiciously as she walked up to the bars
"Such as..." Shalin trailed off holding up the very thin file on Drade
Drade dropped her chin to her chest with a huffed laugh, a smirk curling up on her face as she slowly shook her head, arms slipping through the bars as she leaned on them with her legs crossed at the ankles. Dock and Shalin stayed a fair distance from the cell to assure she wouldn't do anything sneaky despite the collar around her neck Drade was still dangerous.
"So...is this business or pleasure?" Drade asked raising her head up with an arched eyebrow
"What do you mean?" Shalin inquired
"Do you 'need' to know cause a pencil pusher in the conditioned office asked or do you 'want' to know cause you're simply curious?" Drade clarified
"It's need to know...literally, the higher ups have decided that seeing as we can't kill you perhaps we can use you but first they need more information...namely this file needs to be thicker before they agree to make you a deal." Shalin explained
"What sort of deal?" Drade asked
"Depends on how much you give us and what it is you give us," Shalin retorted
"Hmm, fair enough...still...may I?" Drade asked extending a hand as a gesture for Shalin to hand over the file.
"Yeah...sure," Shalin agreed handing the file to Drade who slid it between the bars, shifting her position so she was leaning against the inner cell wall. Drade flipped through the file casually clearly reading everything however upon reaching one page she stopped, furrowing her brow with a hard swallow before sliding her eyes towards the duo standing at the cell door.
"Where did these come from?" Drade asked turning the file to reveal the images of her scars that Dock had added.
"I took them during your treatments," Dock simply explained
"What do you know about them?" Drade asked clearly struggling to maintain her composure
"Nothing really other then they're scars...on the back page are my theories but they're only that, theories," Dock continued
"I see...here," Drade stated handing the file back to Shalin through the bars
"Well? Where do you want to start?" Shalin asked
"Nowhere...I pass," Drade all but hissed taking the duo off guard
"What? Why?" Shalin asked in shock
