As a year went by, those EYES eventually disappeared from my thoughts and were only burried deep within my memories. Until the day my group and I visited Dakota crescent.

Dakota crescent was infamous for being haunted at late night because of it being one of the most sought out deserted places (and parkour lol) and with the spirits that still linger there, they cannot rest(parkour bois and gurls). My friends and I are such people who like snooping around places but mostly just looking for spots to do photo shoots(we do parkour too... heck).

Dakota crescent was obviously on our list but when we arrived in the area even during the day, it felt eerie and greyed out as if the life itself was sucked out of this area. We scouted a few buildings climbing up and through the windows because most of the place was barred up or lifts were inaccessible. We finally settled down for a block building and decided we'd maybe check out the houses and did it in respect for the past owners.

We found nothing interesting. We then confirmed the location and took a few shots and decided to have an early light dinner till about 5-6. Afterwards, we headed back to Dakota crescent and it still feels eerie maybe even dread. Before we climbed the scalfolding, we said all our prayers(I did it unwillingly cus I'm an atheist) and finally climbed up, the entire place was block was still lit but with very dim lights do we still needed or flashlights which we readily had.

Nothing much happened except for the fact that my friend's ringtone wasn't helping because it make a very loud sound making all of us jump. We still didn't feel all that well walking around here and we started to leave. On the way back we decided to cut through the blocks via the two playgrounds... yea, it was a very "good" idea... not. It was pitch black so we still needed lights and I forgot to mention, I'd been recording the entire time, why I mentioned this was because whilst walking through the pitch black area, I heard rustling of leafs behind me which obviously caught my attention.

At first I thought it was nothing or if it was a cat, but as I continued on it started to sound like footsteps like a recognisable human that was behind me. I looked back to see nothing, I called out to my friends to say we might not be alone, they didn't believe though but as I caught up to them and the foot steps began again, they heard it too. My friends and I decided to hold each other in headlock till we reached the other side of the block and to not look back, the footsteps kept following till we reached the road where there was light.

After that, the leader of the group asked if any of us looked back, all but me said no. I looked back a couple of times before we huddled together to get through. He said I should be fine if I didn't fully turn my back. Stupidly enough I look back after we got in the light and saw at the far end where we started walking, I saw a figure there... the same grey eyes. I told my friends and they saw nothing, I looked back and he/she/it disappeared. I looked down in defeat and thought maybe I'm just losing my mind, I look up and he's still not there but I could still feel a presence in the area... they're still here.
