Chapter 2

That nurse. Blonde hair, blue eyes and wings... Mercy? I take back what I thought in the morning! This school is AMAZING!
We had given her some context to what happened.
"Oh dear. He's always feared Sombra..." she says. "Thank you for bringing him."
We wave goodbye to Mercy as she lies Liam down on one of the beds.
RING!
That went fast. I struggle to find my timetable and Dacio beats me to it. "Oh man! Pyrotechnics! Awesome... but the teacher is scary. Just a heads up."
I'm frightened by the mention of pyrotechnics. Could it be that we're meeting that crazy guy with his hair on fire?
Me and Dacio walk to class. One of the girls waiting in line looks extremely enthusiastic. Behind her is a girl that Dacio looks interested in. As I'm socially awkward, I tap on Dacio's shoulder.
"Ah! Kaori, this is Y/N. Y/N, this is Kaori."
Before we could greet each other, the crazy man from this morning opens the door and lets us in. Oh god - it IS him. I know how Liam feels now. I'm extremely scared of this guy.
"Alright, alright, settle down." he says, "I believe we have a new student."
I gulp in fear.
"Oh hello! You must be the new one, then..." he says.
I laugh nervously.
"Um, hi everyone... I'm Y/N..."
The girl I don't know waves to me. "Nǐ hǎo! I'm Yui." She then takes her coat off. I mean it is pyrotechnics. What do you expect?
"Well, little lad, call me Mr. Fawkes." the teacher says.
I glance over at Kaori and Dacio. I think we're all scared of him.

—END OF SCHOOL—
I head back to the dorm to see Dacio was already there. He pauses his game.
"Oh hi Y/N! You wanna play this with me? I can switch it to multiplayer!"
I immediately agree. I mean how could I refuse? Games are LIFE.
About an hour passed by and Dacio is still endlessly beating me. I guess you don't get it perfect the first time.
"Ready to give up yet?"
"Not a chance Dacio. Not a CHANCE."
Half an hour later Gabriel came into the dorm. He went straight to his laptop. I guess we're pretty much all antisocial. Then something happens. The game starts going weird and I keep beating Dacio. What IS this sorcery?
"Alright - I give up..." Dacio says.
I look over to Gabriel, who seemed to be watching me, and he blushes, trying to look away. Did Gabriel rig the game for me or something?
