Walking out in to the park on such a great day was so bad for me. (Wtf am I even writing?)

Seeing couples having a picnic, taking a stroll through the park, and even showing affection with each other...makes me feel lonely on this type of day.

I sigh as I sit on a bench far away from the couples.

I have to be single on Valentines Day of course. No one even cares to actually have them as their girlfriend.

They mostly just see me as crap, or as a friend.

*phone rings*

"Hello?"

"Y/N! We're having a party at the beach later! Wanna come?! It's just gonna be you, Seventeen, and me!" My friend asks.

"Idk...maybe?" I say hesitantly.

"Come on! You know who is going to be there!!!" She says.

"Fine, are we going swimming too?" I ask.

"No, because the water is freezing!" She says flatly.

"Okay then, see ya later." I reply and hung up the phone.

*fast forward to the beach*

"Y/N!!!! YOU MADE IT!"

"NOONA!"

"I knew you would come" B/N would say smiling. 

I turn away and blush.

"Um. yeah" I softly say.

My friend grabs my wrists.

"Excuse us for a second." She says and drags me a little farther away from the others.

"What was that for!?" I shout.

"Shh! Look just confess to him already! This is your chance to finally tell him!!" She says excitedly.

"Idk...what if he doesn't like me back?" I say nervously. 

"Hey, you will be fine! I bet he does like you!" She said "Now, LETS GO HAVE SOME FUN!!"

How can someone handsome like him...even like a ugly girl like me. 

"OKAY! LETS PARTY!!!!!!!!!" Y/F/N yells. 

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Music blasting, people laughing, and others who are having fun. 

While I just sit down in the sand looking out into the ocean. 

"Hey, is this seat taken?" 

I turn around and see B/N looking at me shyly.

I turn back and nod my head. 

He sits down next to me. 

I sigh.

"What are you doing here? You should go party with the others" I say softly while looking outward towards the sunset. 

"I would rather stay with you here" He says quietly, but enough for me to hear.

I look at him seeing that he's blushing. 

I smile sweetly and look at the sunset again. 

We both you towards the sun.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I ask gazing.

"Not as beautiful as you" B/N says.

I look down.

I can feel my face heating up.

"Y/N"

"Yeah?"

"Can I say something?" 

"S-sure" I stutter.

He grabs my hand and makes me face towards him.

His other hand gently hold the tip of my chin and slowly come forward.

He slowly pulls out of the kiss.

Looking into my eyes lovingly. 

"I like you..." He says.

"I-i like you to" I say while stuttering. 

"In that case..." B/N said getting up.

He holds out his hand.

"Will you be my girlfriend Y/N?" He asks.

"OF COURSE!" I say without any hesitation, and hug him. 

That's how our relationship started.
