John got out first and helped Rose out a bit "so where are we gonna go since clearly this place isn't gonna have anything." John shrugged and moved his hand in a motion indicating for Rose to follow him. Suddenly they heard a metal banging sound from the entrance if the place they just got out of. Rose immediately hid behind John fearing of whatever it was. The dog jumped from the exit barking at it suddenly and then came to John calmly. John pet the dog and then walked outside,climbed onto the roof, and sat there and Rose did the same helping the dog onto the roof. " I think we need a break from whatever is going on." John never asked for this neither thought of anything even close to this but it was better then becoming an orphan John agreed to himself and continued to look at the new world around him. "Say I have an idea and trust me on this i know this place." Rose said suddenly and John thinking twice about it followed Rose. Minutes passed the city seemed smaller from the higher view they had before. The two arrived at a tall 2 story building. "This is it and if we're lucky enough there is enough to survive in here." Rose said without concern of the building looking as if it could rot away any time now. "Well I trust you" John said while eyeing the building with concern. They entered and John went and sat down on the nearest thing to rest on while rose walked around attempting to find the light switch or something to make it easier to see. Rose gave up and sat across from John. "So I think we should be safe here this place has been abandoned for centuries, just kidding it's actually about six years." Rose said impressed with herself. John is already tired to do much because of how long they have walked to here. "Maybe we should explore this place tomorrow and we don't know if anyone is in here so we should stay in this room and stick together." John explains now considering the risk of staying here. "We'll be fine ok you don't need to panic but that's fine there's a room with some couches so we should go there follow me." Rose said apparently knowing the place pretty well. As John followed he felt more and more unsure about the place but at this point he has his mind off of his family. Rose never met her family but that was common for girls in this town it was sad for people who moved here but the people didn't really mind. But for John, tomorrow is gonna be a whole new experience.
