Lightening pov
I wake up in a dark room as a few soldiers aim their weapons at me "this shit again.. do they ever learn?" I think to myself as a woman walks up to me and says "So you're the infamous Lightening Jackal" I sighs and reply "so what if I am"
The lady chuckles saying "good to see that you are still a prick" I sigh and say "seriously what the hell do you want?" the lady smiles saying "I have come to make an offer"
Time skip: a few months later
"I still don't like it, why am I being a assigned a team?" the lady chuckles and says "simple, people don't trust you" I sigh and say "I don't know why not I saved around two thousand people this week alone." the lady sighs and says "not my decision it's the U.N.'s, Lightening" I roll my eyes and say "whatever Yin, where is the Landing Zone?" I hear Yin chuckle on the other side of the radio the she says "you are heading to it now" I sigh and get up to look out the window and I see a large mountain covered in snow as a few helicopters fly beside the one I am in "this base is pretty big" I say as I see the base itself
The base is a dark grey color probably to be camouflage next to the mountain that it resides as the helicopter lads on the Landing Zone two people walk up to it saying something which is probably about me considering I hate hiding my animal like ears and tail
I get out of the helicopter as it powers down and the pilot gets out then the people look at me and say "sir Yin is waiting for you" I nod as they walk off and I follow we stop at a red wooden door the one of the two people says "she is in that room" I nod again as the two people walk off... now that I think about it they might have been apart of this 'team' I have been assigned I walk in and sit down in the chair that is in front of me. Yin chuckles saying "hello Lightening the team that you have been assigned is in the next room being brifed on your 'habits' please don't kill this one yeah" I roll my eyes and nod and say "if they don't touch my tail we won't have a problem"
Yin chuckles saying "oh we told them about that too but I think it is time for you to meet your team what do you think?" I sigh and say "very well" as I think to myself "I hope the aren't amateurs"
I get up and start to walk out as Yin says "oh by the way your next assignment I coming up soon" I sigh and walk out and think to myself "time to meet this 'team'"
I walk into the room that the new team is in and a person in a dark red jacket and jeans walk up to me and says "hello sir my name is private Kevin I hope I can do well in your service" I nod and think to myself "Kevin huh that's means team red has been assigned to me well at least they are not amateurs"
I look around the room and see the rest of the team. They look at me like a monster which I guess is acceptable given the fact that I killed a lot of people to get my code name; "The Ripper" well if they fear me I guess that's ok after a minute of silence one of them speaks up "so you're Lightening right" I nod and say "of course I am" the room gets quiet again then Kevin breaks the silence saying "our new mission begins tomorrow you are dismissed" I nod and walk out as I am heading to my room a person walks up to me and says "see you tomorrow sir" I nod and walk into my room and close the door
The room only has a single bed made of metal mainly because electricity surrounds me in my sleep "well I guess I have to sleep here tonight" I say as I lay down on the metal bed and fall asleep
I wake up to an alarm alerting me that it is time to wake up I sigh as electricity absorbs into me as I walk to the cafeteria. There are a few people looking at me that's fine because I normally don't care about them unless they attack me so it's not a big deal. One of the people who are apart of my 'team' walk up to me as I sit down at a table that is in the corner of the room "oh great what now" I think to myself. He looks at me and says "sir the briefing will begin in thirty minutes" I nod and walk to the briefing room as Yin says "oh good you're here I will be giving you the information" she slides a file twords me as I read it and download key parts of it into my robotic eye "so red wing huh" I say as Yin nods confirming my suspicions
