Catch me if I fall

Chapter 1

Starfire's POV

I slowly awaken.

I thought I was dead.

But feeling so much pain I had to be alive.

Why was I alive?

No one could survive that fall.

Not anyone on my planet even.

Then a flashback

The thing called a Chrysalis eater wanted to eat me.

I'm a Chrysalis.

She said there was no more Chrysalis that existed.

They must be powerful and dangerous.

I suddenly realized everything was dark.

Where am I?

I couldn't move.

My fingers slowly brushed everything they could reach.

Rubble.

I was under the remains of the Titans tower.

It must have collapsed.

I sat there for a few hours using bits and pieces of my strength to escape the rubble.

When I finally escaped the sun light blinded me.

Once my eyes adjusted I looked at all the rubble from the tower and searched though the rubble to find our belonging from the tower.

A smashed picture of our team lay on the ground and I burst into tears.

I was happy to be alive.

I could see my friends again.

I could see Robin again.

The question was, where is Robin?

I had wondered how long it had been since my fall.

It could have been up to a year.

Or more.

I knew that I had to find Robin tell him I was alive.

Where was everyone?

I stayed a few days on the Titans island to regain my strength, then headed to jump city.

Before I roamed through town I found a empty restroom.

I walked in and looked in the mirror.

I was a mess, my hair was not brushed, my skin cut and bruised, my face was pale, and my eyes were filled with sorrow and tears.

I fixed my hair to make it look normal again, stopped some of the blood from my wounds, but could not change my appearance any farther than that.

Now I would not look like the "zombie"

I begin to roam the streets of my home hoping to find Robin running to me.

But found nothing.

I was alone and I could barely walk.

I wanted to cry in robin's arms with him telling me everything was going to be okay.

I did not care if someone thought crying was showing weakness I needed to let my tears out. It did not feel good to try to hold them in like this.

I wandered for days, and frequently took breaks to regain my strength. But I did not give up searching for Robin, I would search until I found him right next to me, never to leave my side again.

One day I was walking by a bank when the alarm went off, the dr.Light was robbing it.

With all my strength I knew I had to protect the bank.

As he appeared out the door he gave me a very surprised look.

"I thought you were dead........Oh well Robin can't protect you now, I guess I can just kill you myself." He said.

I would have said something clever back but that would take up too much energy.

Before I knew it, with one hard punch I was lying on the cold hard ground.

"Weak." he laughed.

Out of no where a green bull knocked the dr.Light over. Then the green bull turned into a green boy laughing at the enemy's pain.

Beast boy.

Behind him was Raven starting to battle the Dr.Light.

Beast boy turned to me with a proud look on his face, "sorry about that ma'am just bad guys doing what they do but we're here to....." he stopped in the middle of his sentence and actually looked at me his eyes filled with solemn, "S-Star?"

I burst into tears and hugged him. Then said, "beast boy where is robin?"

"We d-don't know" he replied.

"Why?" I asked.

"He gave up being a hero after he l-lost you." he answered.

Without me being able to reply a large crash caused beast boy to look away, and for a split second Raven stared at me.

The the Dr.Light gave me a massive kick in the stomach which caused me to fly across jump city.

I landed far from the bank and knew I shouldn't go back. So I sat there outside of jump city with trees surrounding me, hopping I would soon see Robin again.
