Within the next hour Noah was in the front honking at me to come out. I walk out the house and as soon as I do my phone goes off.

It read Aiden. I answer the phone.

"Hello." I say as I get in the car with a finger up to Noah telling him to wait.

"Babe get off the phone." I shot him a glare and he throws his hands up in surrender and I get back to the phone call.

"Yes Aiden?"

"Nothing, your with your boyfriend. No big deal."

I look at Noah as he drives and realize he's not even my boyfriend yet here we are, as if we date.

"That wasn't my boyfriend Aiden." I say as Noah looks at me. The look doesn't tell me anything though. The isn't saying 'now you know we dang near together' or 'hang up the phone' it's literally just a look. I decide to hang up the phone anyways. "Look Aiden, I am with a friend right now though. We can talk later?"

"Yea whatever. Bye Adriana." He says. I can tell he is definitely annoyed. I shrug it off and look at Noah who's eyes have been on the road.

"So why did you wanna hang out? I thought you had a 'thing' today."

He looks at me in annoyance and rolls his eyes. "Like I said over the phone... I need a reason to wanna spend time with you."

I decide to be straight forward instead of beating around the bush. "I mean yes, we are not together so what's your deal."

"Nothing. Like you said, were friends."

That kinda hit me hard not even gonna lie. That was a clear opening for any confusion that I had to where he would have said 'you know your mine' 'you know we together at this point' or anything like that. At least now I'm not confused. We're friends. Doing what friends do.

I think Noah noticed my change in my whole attitude because he kept trying to make small talk, but honestly I just wanted to be home at this point. Anywhere, where he isn't would have been nice.

Once we got to his house my jaw dropped. It was huge. A 4 part drive way. The most expensive cars I have ever seen. Now I know why he's always in a different car.

"Never been in a house before babygirl?" He laughs. That word 'babygirl' really did some to me. Didn't he realize that him calling me things like that kinda pisses me off since we're not together and he made it very clear that we weren't together.

We walk in the house and I follow him straight to the kitchen. It was absolutely beautiful. The countertops, the floors and walls. I would love to cook in this kitchen.

"You wanna order a pizza?" He says pulling out his phone.

"No!" I practically scream at him. "Let me cook for you."

"You wanna cook for me?"

"Yes! You have an amazing kitchen and I wanna cook."

"I didn't know you could cook..."

"There's a lot of things about me you don't know. I can do it all."
