Valentines

Valentine's day was not your favourite day, mainly because all of your past relationships never lasted long.

You stayed away from relationships for a while before you had met Jack, something was different about him. He was kind and gentle and never pushed you too far or make you do anything you didn't want to.

This year, Jack had taken you out on a date, to a small, quiet park. He'd set up a picnic in a clearing among the flowers and it was the sweetest thing ever, none of your previous boyfriend's did anything like this, or well, anything at all on Valentine's.

Laying there in the clearing you felt serene as if all the monsters and all your problems had just melted away.

"I love you, so much."

Jack said as he lay down next to you, looking very nervous.

"I love you too Jack, thank you for today."
Jack smiled at your reply and scooched over to you, wrapping an arm around your waist.
