Frustrations

I sighed. I hated riding in the Black Bird when I can fly perfectly by myself. Everyone but me was seated and strapped in and I was just leaning against one of the walls all Vegeta-Like. Hisako leaned towards Hank. "Do you think I can see a Broadway musical sometime while we're in New York?" She asked. I smiled. Ah, Broadway.

"Yes, perhaps we can all make a night of it, as soon as we completed Emma's tests. Gohan and I enjoy a bit of show tune ourselves." He said. I closed my eyes.

"You do?" Hisako asked.

"I agreed to help with the tests Hank, but you know I need my training as well," I said. He nodded and turned back. Hisako looked at me.

"Your training? What's that?" She asked. I looked at her and smiled, making her blush once again.

"You know how a few places there is a Martial Art T ornament?" I asked. She nodded. "Well, I'm it's standing champion." As soon as I said that she widened her eyes.

"So you're the Legendary Super Saiyan!" She practically yelled. I nodded and smiled. "I never knew you were an X-Men!" She said. I nodded my head again. Suddenly there was a beeping.

"Look alive!" Mom yelled. Every one of us looked up to the front. "There's something on our tail and it's closing in on us, fast." She said. Logan stepped up.

"What?" He asked. I didn't like this, but at least I can get some exercise. It was a few seconds before nothing happened. "So where'd it go anyways? I don't see a thing." He asked. Suddenly something black hit the windshield. It was huge and damn ugly. Almost everyone jumped back.

"What is that?" Mom asked, horrified.

"Biggest damn pigeon I've ever seen," Logan said. I agreed. Suddenly it shot off if I was correct, so kind of cannon from its hands. It kept shooting until the windshield cracked. "What the hell?" He asked As it kept on shooting, I opened the hatch in the back. "OK, we got this," Logan said.

"He's all yours," Cyclops said. Logan ran ahead while I stayed back.

"What's going on, are we going to crash?" Hisako asked.

"We're going to be fine," Emma said as the intensity got a lot worse. I placed my hand on Hisako's shoulder and smiled at her. I ran after Logan to catch up.

As he and I jumped out I caught on to his shirt and threw him at the monster. "Hey Ugly! Step away from the vehicle." Logan said as he rammed right into it. As it flew off, I flew a few feet away to give Logan some space, I was interested to see how he'd handle this. He hung on to the thing as he started to stab it with his claws. It was about six minutes before he was done and the thing was shown to be some sort of kid. He didn't look good. As Logan held the kid in his arms he stared down at him. "Sorry kid, I had no other choice."

                                                     A few minutes later

As Hank was looking the boy over I was leaning against the wall, what I saw was something I didn't like. I hated to see this kid suffer.

"Even when he was trying to kill me, I could sense hesitation," Logan said as he sat a few feet from Hank. "It's like his mutant powers kicked into overdrive and he didn't know how to control them."

"Perhaps, yes." Hand said as he continued to check the boy over. I was gritting my teeth hard and was clenching my hands so hard that I had unconsciously dug my nails into my arms, drawing blood. Hisako and Logan were the only ones to notice. My eyes were concentrated in anger as I thought of what else those bastards were doing to mutant kids. Just the thought of it made me angry.

"I know this boy, he was one of the mutants the U-Men were holding in their lab," Emma said.

"You serious?" Logan asked.

"Yes, he's almost unrecognizable." She answered. I clenched my hands more. 'To think people would do this, it's like Dr. Gero all over again. I can't stand this, why do people do this?' I thought as I looked at the kid.

"Great, now I guess we're looking at two cases of mutant powers gone haywire," Logan said. the next thing everyone heard was a loud bang. Hisako looked over at me in worry. I was looking at nothing in particular in anger. "Gohan, you OK?" I head Logan ask. I turned and glared at him before walking out.

"He'll be OK, I guess this just reminds him of one of his old enemies back home," Hank said.

It was some time before I met with everyone, A few hours I think. I had gone and murdering spree on an A.I.M Base. I left no one alive.  I know it's wrong to kill, but I needed to vent, and A.I.M Isn't exactly on my good side. I saw everyone lounging around. I knew the kid was dead, I couldn't feel him KI anymore. I leaned against a wall as I listened in on their conversation.

"This all seems like something your crew, the Inner Circle, would do," Scott said. I sighed at this. The idiot was still on that stupid thing.

"Oh, give it a rest. They're not my crew, and butchering mutants are not their thing." Emma said.  "Besides, they don't operate in Japan." She said. That may have been true, I do.

"Like you'd admit it if they did," Scott said. I was seriously going to kick his ass if he didn't stop.

"Do those visors mean you're blind Mr. Summers, do the math would you? The boy was kidnapped by the U-Men, so logically if anyone is behind it, they are. Why keep dragging the Inner Circle into it?" She asked. I was liking the woman more and more. I looked to Hisako who was sitting by Emma as she looked at me. I smiled encouragingly as she stood up and walked to me, leaning against me. I didn't know what to do in this situation so I looked to Mom. She had a small smiled on her face before she mouthed 'Hold her'  Not wanting to get on her angry side, I slid my arms around the girl and held her close to me.

"She has a point, we know the Inner Circle disbanded after our battle." Mom said as she walked closer to Scott. "You don't think you're stretching too much to connect them to it?" She asked.

"Give it up Psych, this has the U-Men written all over it," Logan said.

"That would explain why the boy went berserk. Just like that kid who attacked us in the U-Men's laboratory." Mom said. I saw Hank walk in.

"I have some preliminary results here, I can't say for certain the U-Men were responsible." He said. I let go of Hisako and she smiled at me as I walked by Hanks side, taking the test results from him. Taking my hyper-intellect into it I read through Hanks finding and was disgusted at what I read. I looked at Hank for confirmation, he nodded and I felt like I was going to be sick. He nodded to me, knowing what I was going through. These findings were so hard to think on, but I pushed down the feeling of sickness.

"I discovered some peculiar anomalies in the boy's system." He said as I kept reading.

"It was a virus. A virus targeting the mutant GMO caused the kids powers to serge through him until it left him a husk." I said as I read further.

"But as you said, we can't be certain who did it," Scott said. I glared at him.

"Ah man, and just when I thought we kissed and made up," Logan said.

"Ms. Frost, if you are ready we can begin," Hank said as he looked at her. I know I was going to have to help. After all, if something was wrong with her then there had to be something I could do. Emma placed a hand on Hisako's leg and nodded to her when she looked up. Hisako then looked at me and I nodded as well.

"Right," Emma said as she stood up. We walked out of the room and took a two-minute walk to the lab. During our small walk, Emma and I struck up a small conversation where she learned that I had helped Hank out with all of his scientific tests.

Only Kami knows what we'll find now.
