Chapter 14

(KRISTAL'S POV)

     "Hey Daddy! I miss you!"

     "Hey Bunny! I miss you too, but I have some bad news..."

          I sighed. His uneasy tone left what felt like butterflies clumping together to form a pit in my stomach. You are not flipping out again, be strong Kris, you'll live through this... I thought.

     I took a deep breath, "About Delilah?" I said in a monotone.

     "Well yes hun... she wants to fight for custody, claiming mental illness during her time with you... I'm not letting that happen, okay sweetheart? Your not getting near her ever again." He said, clear determination flooding his voice. His sureness put me at ease, her argument isn't valid, because she was sick... but obviously always will be.

     I let out a long groan, slumping down next to Niall. Everyone was up around me except Zayn, and they all slowly turned their heads to look at me. Niall slithered his arm around my waist, pulling himself up and next to me. Harry and Sydney gave me matching questioning looks, Syd's a bit more knowing.

     "Okay Dad, I agree. I have to go but text or call Harry or I when you get court dates or whatever. We'll be there. I love you Daddy."

     "I love you too Bunny, see you soon." I hung up at put my head on Niall's shoulder. Everyone looked at me, waiting for my reaction. I looked back at all of them, I should get this out of the way now I guess.

     "Well, Delilah's fighting for custody of me, stupid bitch. I'm going to court some time fucking soon and she's not going to win and we're all going back to our fucking lives now until the first court date, okay?" I spat. Niall gripped me a little tighter, everyone seemed slightly taken aback by my words and delivery. They all kind of froze, except for Syd who of course clumsily toppled over Harry's body and rolled on the floor, no fake leg on yet, and crawled over to me. She gripped me in a hug around my neck, whispering some colorful words then sitting back down on the floor, no emotion crossing her face.

     She then let out the most comical and loudest raging scream I have ever heard. "She cannot take you away you're not going back to fucking New York until I say who the fuck does she think she is? I'm going to cream that bitch she'll be so sorry she ever breathed I hate her I fucking hate her and this and that and everything GOD WHY FUCKING SHIT!" she rambled, screaming the whole time. We all would have burst out laughing at this if it wasn't so serious. Harry grabbed Sydney by the waist and carried her to the back of the bus, shushing her as her screams faded.

     "So how do you feel, love?" Said Niall, kissing my temple. I snuggled into his shoulder and sighed for the millionth time.

     "I mean, I saw this coming. I knew it was coming. It sucks and shit but I mean... I don't know, I don't feel like being depressed anymore or scaring you guys by going into a weird shock again. SO can we play a video game or eat breakfast until Syd calms down? Her and I are going shopping during your meeting today in... 2 hours." I said. Niall smiled and my answer and put me on the couch. Louis smirked and handed me a bowl of yogurt and fruit.

     "I think it's Sydney's time of the month, I can hear her ripping poor H to shreds at this very moment!" he snickered. I gave him a death glare, even though he was right, I'm not going to break a girl code and publicly announce her girl problems. Liam grabbed a banana and the boys- now including Zayn, but not Harry- Did some pretty sexual things to it, distracting me. I'm so happy I'm here, with 5 entertainers and my best friend, but where the hell was she...

 (SYDNEY'S POV)

     "Syd calm down... What the fuck was that... Are you okay?" Harry said, rubbing my back. I was panting after my little outburst at Kristal's news, causing Harry to drag me away. None of them understood though, I had been there when all the shit happened when we were 4, none of them knew...
