A Cry For Help

She could hear their howls echoing through the darkness surrounding her, sending a shiver through her body and pushing her to move faster. Her bare feet pounded heavily against the forest floor as she quickly ran from the shadows that followed her, their paws beating fiercely along her path as they followed her scent. The dirty blonde locks that flowed from her scalp whipped the bare skin of her back as she dodged the thick cluster of trees that tried to stand in her way and narrowly slid under one of their fallen brothers, the porcelain skin of her left leg carved into by sharp stones.

She quickly recovered and resumed her pace, ignoring the new gash that dripped her crimson blood onto the ground. The gash was just like all the others that covered her bare body and it too stung from the sweat that coated her skin. It seeped into the multiple carven trails that marked her skin and sent spikes of pain through her, but she kept moving.

She wouldn't die. She couldn't.

Her heart pounded in her chest as the beasts on her heels harmonized in their howls towards the full moon above.

She would have found the sound beautiful if it wasn't for the fact that the howling was coming from her vicious captors. The sound drew a small whimper from her lips and drove her forwards, her breathing becoming erratic.

Briefly throwing a look over her shoulder, her eyes widened in horror at the sight of a giant, grey wolf bounding behind her. It's canines glistened in the moonlight that beamed through the trees and she could hear its threatening growl. She quickened her pace, gracefully leaping over a small stream blocking her path before landing back on shaky legs and taking off.

The cold air around her strangled her aching lungs and it nipped harshly at her exposed body, making her numb.

She wouldn't die. She couldn't.

She chanced another look over her shoulder, but as she did her foot caught onto a root that had broken the surface and sent her sprawling into a small clearing surrounded by clusters of trees. The leafy ground provided her little comfort from the impact of her bare back hitting the forest floor. She shrieked as pain shot through her body and curled into a fetal position as she heard their approach slow. She couldn't help the sobs that racked her fragile body and echoed through the silent night.

They grew louder as she heard their hungry growls and victorious howls, and she opened her fearful, brown eyes to look upon the grey wolf. His darken eyes watched her hungrily as he slowly made his approach. She wanted to plea for forgiveness, but no words left her blue lips that shook from the freezing temperature.

She slowly closed her eyes as she awaited her incoming death.

Her incoming freedom.

But it never came.

Instead, a painful whimper echoed through the dense trees and the thudding of several paws followed it as they weaved past her and towards her captors. Reluctantly, she opened her eyes to see a large wolf before her, it's brown fur mixed with grey, reds, and whites. Her weak gaze trailed to it's jaw where the grey wolf's head laid slumped, blood coating the fur around it's neck.

When it's brown eyes met hers, it slowly lowered it's trophy to the ground and kept it's head low as it watched her.  She didn't look away from the wolf's piercing gaze and felt her fears slowly wash away as it made it's way towards her, taking cautious and steady steps.

It exhaled a heated breath out of it nose and it appeared like smoke, curling into the chilling night air. Slowly, she outstretched her right arm and winced slightly at the pain in her shoulder. Her fragile hand cautiously reached for the wolf and came up shy of it's nose before a pack of wolves returned, startling her and causing her to retract her hand quickly. Panic rose through her body and her brown eyes flickered over the new pack of wolves that now surrounded her from all sides, trapping her.

Sensing her panic, the brown wolf harshly turned towards it's members and growled loudly, flashing them the large set of canines that it possessed. Every wolf slowly backed away from the clearing and laid down on their furry bellies, their heads resting against the ground as they awaited further instruction.

She slowly calmed at their actions and could feel her eyelids slowly starting to droop. She had no energy to fight with and was so exhausted. Her body was shutting down and her eyes desperately met those of the brown wolf's before she gave into the darkness that consumed her.

Her eyes shifted under her eyelids as the sunlight streaming through the blinds landed on her face harshly. Slowly, she cracked them and immediately winced at the blinding amount of the light in the room. As her brown eyes adjusted, she noticed that she was inside some kind of hospital room, white walls cornering her from all sides. She tried to lift up her arm to block the Sun from her vision, but was stopped by a sudden twinge of pain. Her gaze fell to her arm and her eyes widened in panic as they landed on the silvery, metal needle in her arm attached to an IV line. Her breathing quickened as she hurriedly ripped the needle from her arm and clambered from the bed, her eyes frantically searching for an exit.

Once she found the door, she made her escape and moved through the shadows that lingered in the small hallways. As she rounded the corner, she could see her clear exit from the sanctum and quickly moved forwards, but not before a nurse caught sight of her. Fear bubbled within the nurse at what the Alpha would do if the woman was to escape and she quickly shouted for all the clinic to hear. "Stop her!"

Several nurses quickly spotted the escaping patient and watched as her eyes flickered over all of them before she bolted towards the exit. The nurses quickly sprung into action and rushed towards the fleeing woman, but she easily avoided them and continued towards her escape. However, as she reached the door she was grabbed and held by unmovable arms that wrapped around her clothed torso. They pressed against her as she struggled to get free of the hold, but they didn't tighten enough to harm her. Her dirty golden strands flipped and struck against her face as she weakly pulled against the arms holding her close to a solid, warm chest.

She felt weaker and weaker as she struggled to get away and soon sobs echoed through the clinic lobby followed by her loud scream, that made every werewolf flinch at the piercing noise hitting their sensitive ears. Her body shook fearfully in her captor's arms, but her struggle stopped when his grasp slightly tightened and the sound of his low, husky voice reached her ears, calming her.

Slowing her breath to match that of her captor, she now focused on the pleasurable shocks that ran through her body due to his touch and went numb as she remembered what they meant.
