LOVERS .

let's start off with the BASICS . liz gets ditched at homecoming , moves to oregon , burns down a house with her newfound powers and accidentally murders somebody . . . you know , the usual .

of course , that led to her seeking out a cure for her . . . enhancements . ones that would probably cost her a lot of money — money that she didn't have . so she took on the alias of the black cat , got a mask , and got to work .

but on the biggest heist of her career , a 10 million dollar diamond , she came face - to - face with peter . she had been meaning to carry out some revenge on him ( both as peter and spider - man ) , but she wasn't prepared enough .

and so , she was left there , stuck to a wall for the next five or so hours . and during that time , she couldn't help but think : okay , why the hell did he seem so much hotter this time ? maybe it was because she wasn't about to die in an elevator . . .

also , her mask almost fell off during her fight , so peter knew exactly who she was . and when liz finally got back to new york , guess who was waiting for her .

and guess who ended up kissing her in an alley .

• after everything that happened , the two worked together on some sort of cure for liz . and in the end , all she got were a pair of gloves with fireproofing . good enough —

• you can safely bet that liz took peter dancing to make up for homecoming .

• of course , liz still steals from time to time . but not huge heists anymore , more of just the occasional pickpocketing .

• peter was the one that convinced liz to write a sorry letter to the family of the person that perished in that fire . mind you , that ended up with her having to deal with a restraining order from a solid 4 people in oregon , but that's besides the point .

• another good thing , liz finally moved to new york in a small apartment with her mom .

• obviously , her dad doesn't know about their relationship .
