I was brought up in a seemingly decent family not too rich but not poor as well, my parents never really cared about what I did with my life. School was easy I had many friends or should I say people leeching to my fame and a life that almost everyone would dream off, but it wasn't fun, nothing seemed interesting, I did the same old stuff everyday.
Wake up , go to school, hang out, come back home, study, sleep repeat. I was invited to many parties but I had no interest in going to any social event that the fake students of my school would host, every day was dull and fake until I met Riley, she was like an angel, when she laughed you couldn't help but smile that's what made me want to be closer to her, she was like a breath of fresh air, she was smart.
A little too smart, but she was into drugs and any other illegal business out there, there were rumors about her luring girls from our college into prostitution which were kind off true. Soon I stared hanging out with her, it was fun, really fun. Everyday was different, exciting and heart racing. I could tell her stuff I couldn't tell anyone, we were inseparable.
During senior year she introduced me to her gang where I caught the eye of the leader PAPA JOE an old man in his early 60s. he was considered the king of the mafia, he treated me like I was his daughter and three months later I was considered the princess of the gang. Everything was going fine until Riley started getting too addicted to drugs, she always did drugs but only when she absolutely needed to, when we were in university she left the gang. We still keep in touch. After she left the gang she went MIA.
So PAPA started getting paranoid and way too protective over me, he would keep men assigned to follow me and see my every move, it started getting suffocating so I decided to leave, change my name, start fresh and headed to Where I would live with Naomi my close friend and the owner of a café I'm going to be working at.
