My Daddy is the Best

My dad is the best he always helps me when I need him and he is always around and I thought I never needed a mother figure ever since I had him. I never really wanted a mother since mine left me with my dad when I was just a baby and I always thought myself as a daddy's girl anyway so I thought I never needed one. But, then I started feeling really lonely and I love my dad in all but I feel like there is something missing like a missing puzzle piece and I asked my dad about it and he told me that I might need a mom after all and I looked at him and laughed at that. He then looked at me confused. Oh he was serious and I stopped laughing.

I don't need one I say.

I have a new play that I am going to audition for tomorrow so I need to get ready then we will find out if I made it in a couple days He says.

But what I didn't know is that that play is where my dad will meet my step mom and they will fall in love during that play.

The Next Day

My dad picks me up from school and he walks with me to the studio so I can see him perform.

Ok CC there is a lot of people performing today so I might not make it He says.

We then enter the theatre and my dad goes in first.

He leaves.

Then I see a lady and a little boy about the age of 6 or 7 and he looks kind of scared.

Ok sweetie I need to go or else I will be late just go towards those doors ok She says.

I'll go with him if he wants to I say trying to help with him not being scared.

Walk(short for Walker btw) wanna go with her instead of yourself She says.

He nods.
