He had a look in his eyes that I couldn’t make out.
“Why never bring her back” I ask looking him up and down “I can’t tell you yet you have to remember who her mom is and then it will make sense ok” he seems to have relaxed a bit but not by much.
“I see so why can’t you tell me” “this is what she wanted to happen” he looks away then at the door and then it opens with force like it was kicked. Which it was Victoria must have kicked it because she had her hands full with a bucket of water. “I got all the water I could”.
“That will be fine I didn’t need that much” he smiles grabbing the water then dipping the rag in it and starts clean my wound while show Victoria how he was doing it. “See tori like this so you don’t tear the stitching or the skin kay” she nod listening intently.
“Don’t go across yet because I just finished it will hurt him ok” she nods again.
This continues for a little bit while I think over what he says, “do you mind if she tries?”
“That’s fine.” he nods and hands her the rag, “gently tori” he says while she does it she is as gentle as she can be while still making sure the rag is touching my skin. Her green eyes focused on their task as she gently cleans up some left over dried blood. “How’s that Damien?”
“That’s very good.” they talked back and forth like that for a few moments and she was done looking proud of her work “What do you think, mister?”
“You did an amazing job. thank you very much.” I say smiling at her. “did ya hear that Da I’m did a good job”.
“I did and it look very clean” he tell her patting her head “so that’s all bruising” .
“yes” “oh”.
And that was it Damien wrapped the wound and then told Victoria something then left.
