Chapter 21: Epilogue
Word Count: 1203Two Years Later
Alec pulled the box out from the back of his car and placed them on the ground with a huff. "Seriously? How does he have so much stuff?" He questioned. Most of the boxes weren't even his, they were his boyfriends.
"What did you expect? You know how Ethan is." Pierce laughed, patting him on the back. "Maybe you should stop buying him things."
"I can't help it. I love spoiling him with the little money I have." Alec responded, looking up at the apartment building he and Ethan were moving into. After all this time, they were finally taking the next step and living together. Alec had no worries or fears about it. He knew they both were ready and he couldn't wait for them to spend their first night in their home together.
He picked up the box he put on the ground and Pierce picked up the other one, the two males making their way into the apartment building and onto the second floor.
The door was already open as Ethan was talking to Haley, who had come over to help them.
"You know, when you said you were going to come over and help, I thought you meant actually help. Not distract Ethan and make me carry all the boxes." Alec said, putting the box down on the kitchen counter.
Haley rolled her eyes. "Stop over exaggerating. You're not the only one carrying the boxes. Pierce and John are here as well. Me and Ethan need a break anyway, we've been working so hard all day."
"You got here like half an hour ago." He mumbled back. Ethan laughed at the and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Hurry up and get the rest of the stuff. We don't have all day." Ethan teased him with a small grin.
"You're lucky I love you." Alec said, moving himself out of Ethan's arms and leaving the apartment. The community college they were both attending was just down the road so the apartment was in the perfect place.
They couldn't believe how lucky they were to have got this place for an affordable price in this location.
"I'm guessing those two aren't going to help?" John questioned, gesturing towards the entrance.
Alec shook his head and said, "you guessed right. Knew I shouldn't have agreed to let Haley come over."
"Let them be. We can handle the rest or is the big baby to tired." Pierce teased and Alec huffed.
He was glad Pierce had been feeling better the past couple months. He and Samantha had ended up getting a divorce and it really took a toll on him. He was in love with her, there was no doubt about that but Samantha had fallen out of love with him and said she didn't want to be with him anymore.
