Party gently steps up to the body, before looking up and shouting to all the wolfcats that it had gone to far, and the battle stopped. She tells all the wolfcats on Gyxonds side how she never meant to hurt Gyxond. They slowly agree, and go with Party. She looks at Hyoundellar and Gyxond, and tells them to work out what side they stand on while they sit and clean their wounds for a while. Hyoundellar and Gyxond go to a small cave with a pond, with bandages that were given out at the main cave. They talk a bit, but silently bandage eachother up. Gyxond sees Hyoundellar is missing a tail and freaks out. Hyoundellar tells her how and Gyxond hugs her. They sit for a while more, before Hyoundellar suggests heading out to join Party. Gyxond doesn't know what she means. Hyoundellar says they should go, and that Party obviously hadn't meant any of this. Gyxond disagrees, and says it's not just what she said, and she had lived her whole life like this because of Party. Hyoundellar tells her if she had just forgiven Party, this would have never happened. They argue, and Hyoundellar eventually yells at her, that it's all her fault the battle ever happened, and that she's the reason she lost one of her tails, and the reason Taffy is dead. She turns and leaves, saying that if she wants to come back, she'll need to learn how to forgive. Hyoundellar leaves, and tells Party that Gyxond isn't coming. Gyxond stays in the small cave for a while more, until she hears wolfcats moving around and figures their leaving. She walks out, and stands behind them all as they are about to start walking to leave. Party looks at her with a sad look, and Gyxond glares back. Party looks away and starts walking. The others follow, and Hyoundellar turns back and shakes her head at Gyxond before leaving as well. Gyxond spends a few weeks still in the cave, and occasionally goes out onto a cliff above the caves, where the town is visible as a blurry light in the distance. The longer she spends like this, the more she realizes Hyoundellar was right. She doesn't think she'll ever be able to fully forgive Party, but living here alone was something she would rather not do. After a few weeks she goes to the town at night, and goes to Party. She wakes her up, and explains that she won't ever forgive her, but she will try, and doesn't want to live alone. Party accepts her immediately, and despite Gyxond repeatedly telling her to wait until morning, Party wakes everyone up and starts throwing, a party. Hyoundellar and Gyxond meet again, and Gyxond basically breaks down telling her she's sorry. They forgive eachother, and Gyxond goes around telling everyone she hurt that she's sorry, especially Ancient. She attempts an apology with Dart, but is relatively scared of him now. Gyxond settles into the town, and lives with Hyoundellar.
