T'challa has been watching you toss and turn in your sleep for what felt like hours. He knew something was wrong but he could never put his finger on what it was. Your behavior towards him changed drastically after he came back from the battle. You were clingy yet reserved. If he'd ever try to hold you in your sleep especially you would get so scared and be uneasy. T'challa knew that there was something you weren't telling him. He fell deep into thought about the different things that could be wrong with you until he was suddenly brought back to reality by the scream of his name.
"T'challa!" you shouted as you quickly sat up in your bed.
"I'm here sithandwa sam. I'm right here." T'challa pulled you into his arms. You wanted to hug him for as long as possible. You felt so at peace in his arms but soon felt worry as T'challa started to pull back from you.
"No mhlobo wam. Hold me." You pleaded as he pulled you back into his loving embrace.
"Y/N what's wrong. You don't seem like yourself. I feel like there is something you are not telling me."
You were very hesitant to tell T'challa about your dreams. You were a very strong and mostly independent woman. You didn't want to tell T'challa that something as silly as a dream could scare you this much.
"Ok. I've been having dreams T'challa, about you"
T'challa was very flattered at first until what you were saying took a turn for the worse. You started to tell him that you've been having dreams where he dies a traumatic death with each death different from the last. Tears started to fall down your face because you couldn't contain your emotions anymore.
"T'Challa" you say in the middle of a sob " I just don't want to lose you. I don't know why I can't stop thinking of you leav-" You were silenced by T'challa kissing you deeply.
"Come sithandwa sam. I want to show you something."
T'challa eagerly got out of bed and stood there waiting for you to put on your silk robe. He chuckled and checked the time which read 11: 08 PM.
"Come on woman. We'll miss it if we don't go now."
"Ok ok but can you tell me where we are going. We don't know who's going to be outside seeing me like this."
"You look beautiful now come on." he said while grabbing your hand to drag you out of the room.

"T'challa slow down." you say, giggling while he drags you through the halls of the palace
"We are almost there."
After the two of you finished running you finally approached the place T'challa wanted you to see: the garden.
"Seriously T'challa you brought me all the way outside t-"
"Wait quietly. They will come any second now."
The two of you stood there silently. You didn't understand the purpose of standing there so you turned back around to ditch him. As if T'challa read your mind he said, "Don't leave! Look they are coming." You turned back around and looked into the purple marbled sky. Something blue and iridescent was coming your way. The closer it got the more it started to expand and your jaw dropped. A tiny blue dot broke away from the pack and came close to you until it landed on your nose.
"Butterflies." You whispered
They were all around you at this point. When you looked up you found T'challa covered head to toe with the beautiful insects. You couldn't help but to laugh until tears came from your eyes.
"You know," he started "My Baba used to bring me here all the time when ever I had bad dreams. As soon as I'd get here it was like they kissed all my bad thoughts away. They only come out at 11:11 at night. That was why I was in such a hurry to bring you."
You chuckled at his last statement. It was true. You felt as though all the weight was lifted off your shoulders. You couldn't even remember what you even dreamt about. You walked up to T'Challa and wrapped your arms around him.
"Listen Y/N. I'm not going anywhere. I cannot nor will I ever leave you. I'm here to stay."
He then lifted your chin up and kissed you softly as more butterflies landed on you. You pulled away and laughed. He still had you in his arms trying to kiss you again but you kept dodging his kisses.
"I want to play with the butterflies" you said.
"You've already seen them now come here." he said as he kissed you again deeply. You smiled against the kiss and arched your back as attempt to get away from him. He then slid his hand from your waist and slowly fondled your backside. You moaned into his mouth.
"I know you like that Y/N"
"Ok I'm done. You killed it." you said while walking away.
"No come back. I'm sorry." He said while chasing after you.
