Sapphire

Sixteen Years Later
Sapphire was walking through the halls of the castle. She had grown into a beautiful young women with her enchanting sapphire eyes with golden flecks, long luscious brown hair that reached her butt and she had long elegant legs with a toned muscular body. Today was her 18th birthday where she would find her mate and shift for the first time into her wolf or so she hoped. Most kids shifted at the age of 16 but Sapphire didn't and she was a little bit sad. Maybe she was destined to be alone. She walks through the castle doors and the guards bow their heads to her. She heads towards the stables where her horse Moon was stabled. When she arrives she grabs some brushes and starts brushing him down. His beautiful jet black coat shined as the sun shone through the windows and he shakes his head getting rid of the flies. Once I've finished brushing him I give him a carrot which is his favourite snack then kiss his nose and head back inside.

As I enter the castle a blur passes by and takes me down "Sapp! How's it going? I've missed you so much!" Louise laughs as he pulls me up and into a hug squeezing me tightly. He had been away at warrior training since he had wanted to join my protection detail which I did NOT want him to do but he wouldn't listen to me. I punch his arm a little roughly and laughs as he rubs it "Damn Sapp! You've gotten stronger! What you been doing training with the guards?" He smirks laughing and I raise a brow "No Lou I've been training with the Chief of the guards" I smirk as I wink and ruffle his now golden locks. Funny how they stayed curly and hadn't straightened but he had also refused to cut his hair which I hated.

We walk through the garden of the castle and the servants all bow their heads as we pass by and then continue their work of fixing the garden and keeping it beautiful as they always did. We make our way to our bench that we called ours because this had been where we were always sitting or playing since we were little pups. "So have you found your mate yet?" I ask him politely with a smile on his lips and I see a flash of sadness go through his eyes before it's changed to a loving look and he smiles "Yes but I really was always hoping it was going to be you." He admits and I nod my head "You know I have always just seen you as a brother and also I like women" I giggle and ruffle his hair again.

"So what's she like? Tell me everything!" I smile warmly. I was so happy that he'd found his mate and I wondered if he brought her with him. He chuckles "She's amazing Sapp. You'll like her. She is a brunette with green eyes and her name is Kylie. She actually came with me before you ask." He stands up "Come on let's go see her. I think she was setting up our room! Oh and happy birthday Sapphire!" I grin and smile at him "Thanks Lou" We start walking towards the castle just catching up as we walk.

As we reach the castle I feel an immense pain through my body and I fall to the ground grunting in pain. "Louise help me!" I scream and another spasm rocks my body and then I feel my bones snap and shift into place. I'm breathing heavily and then I notice I'm standing on four legs instead of two and I have paws instead of hands and feet. As I continue to look at myself my wolf eyes widen. My body was pure white but not only that I had sapphire designs down my body and along my paws. Not only about my body but I was huge! I was around 9 feet tall which is massive for a wolf. My parents weren't even my height. Most wolves reach about 5 feet and Alphas were usually 6 feet. Louise stares at me and submits immediately upon seeing my wolf.

Everyone comes rushing out of the castle as they had heard my scream. The first ones to come out were my parents and when they see the wolf in front of them their eyes widen "Sapphire?" Both my parents say at the same time and walk right up to me and I lie down whimpering softly as I put my massive head into my mothers arms nuzzling her. Then I hear a soft voice in my head "Hello Sapphire. My name is Purity. I am your wolf and I'm here to help you in anyway I can. We do not have a mate yet which saddens me slightly but I know our family loves us." I smile internally and then I start shifting back to my human form. A small scream slips out of my mouth and then I look at my parents and for the first time in my entire life I pass out as everything goes black.

Dream
I wake up to the soft sound of singing and I groan as I get up and notice I am most definitely not at home. I'm in a beautiful meadow and I see a mansion up ahead. I decided to follow the singing which I was positive was coming from the mansion. As I reach the door it opens automatically into a large spacious living room with beautiful interior and furniture. As I look around I head towards the next room and there sitting at a grand piano is the most beautiful women I've ever met in my entire life. "Hello Sapphire" her angelic voice reaches me and I feel calm immediately but I'm not exactly sure why. She seemed familiar but I couldn't place why or where did seen her before. "Do not be frightened my child. I am the Ariel the Moon Goddess."

My eyes widen as she tells me that and I bow in respect towards her as she is the reason the entire werewolf kingdom exists. "No, no please do not bow to me. I view you as my daughter along with your mother. We are in a way related as your mothers mothers mother was my daughter. So you can call me great great grandmother?" She laughs and it makes me smile "Gran why am I here? The last thing I remember is shifting back into my human form and then I don't remember anything." She looks at me with a kind smile "Well you can blame me for that one. I needed to speak with you as there is a great danger coming your way and you must be prepared. I can not tell you what kind of danger just that it poses a great threat to you and the werewolf kingdom."

She walks over to me and kisses my forehead "I have gifted you with extraordinary power and all the Alphas in the land will want you. You will need to train and be able to control your powers. Your wolf Purity will help you. She is very wise." I begin to fade and the last thing I catch from her is "I love you Sapphire. I know you will do me proud..."
