Juliet couldn't understand why she was still hanging out with these type people in their school. But here she was, chatting and sitting beside them. The table was packed by noisy students coming from different sections.
The so called 'leader' of the group, James, was telling them a story on how he fucked a girl in her Junior Year, saying how she was needy and wanting more of him. Also simultaneously having his arm around Lucas' waist. "My Bitch" he said.
The guy makes it so obvious that he wants to eat the younger, that they aren't bothered by it anymore well some aren't . While the rest of the group were busy having their own conversation, the shorter turned to her right. Right next to her was their varsity friend Kiara. It would be an understatement to say she was pretty no, she was gorgeous .
Her silky long hair tied in a ponytail. Her cute thin lips and her height perfectly matched her body proportions. Even if she was an athlete, the girl wasn't an extrovert.
Sure you can invite her in parties, but she wouldn't try to socialize with people she isn't friends with. Opting to just keep to herself until she finds one of her close friends.
The girl was playing with her mashed potatoes, clearly in deep thought. The two girls were somewhat close. They don't consider each other as best friends though, their just close. Close in fact that Juliet was the first one to find out that the other was lesbian.
The shorter did notice her disinterest in boys, just decided to not say anything about the topic and waited until the taller told her herself.
She used every fiber in her body to act surprised. That she wasn't expecting for the taller to tell her.
It was 12:20. They still have 40 minutes until their next class. Kiara was thinking if she should confess later or not. You see, the main reason she told Juliet her secret was because she trusts her and she likes her. It was pathetic she knows. They have been friends since Sophomore Year. Mainly because they were in the same section and were always paired up together on some activities.
Kiara was planning how her confession was gonna play out. After classes they meet each other in the field. Talk about something, then slowly confess to the shorter. The plan sounds good on paper but she was nervous on how it's gonna play out. Maybe Juliet won't have the time to go with me, maybe Juliet's a cleaner, maybe Juliet would leave early or maybe Juliet would hate me when I confess.
The taller shuddered at the thought. She didn't want the other girl she likes to hate her. The shorter was far more important to her than anything else. Kiara doesn't want to admit it but she really likes her and if she would instantly reject her, it would break her heart. What Kiara didn't notice though was how the other was staring at her. Juliet was staring at her intently, silently cooing whenever the other did something cute. Like pouting her lips or the her hands were fidgeting the fries she was also eating.
Even if Kiara was taller, she still manages to stay cute. For example, when they had to go against another group and they lost. The taller was flailing her arms around. Whining how we should've done better. It was a cute sight she had to admit.
A thought suddenly came to the shorter. She then took a hold of the taller's wrist. Causing the other to turn to her direction, throwing her a questioning look. "Did you want something?" She asked. Kiara was trying was trying so hard not to blush and scream at the way the shorter was staring at her. Her dark brown eyes were filled with something she couldn't quite put a name on. She wasn't sure.
"Yeah. Come with me i'm gonna show you something" the other replied. She then stood up, still holding the other's wrist. "Me and Kiara are leaving early. Bye" she declared, dragging Kiara behind her.
"You two better not be fucking when we get back to the class!" James yelled.
"James!" Lucas said slapping the older's arm. The rest of the group were just chuckling at what happened.
The two were facing each other. Kiara's light brown eyes staring onto Juliet's dark brown ones. The taller was shaking a little. Unsure why her friend made them go to the empty field. Her mind was racing with different thoughts, nonetheless she tried to keep calm. Well, she tried to. Her shaking hands were so evident it would make you think she was surrounded by cold wind. Her eyes looking everywhere, avoiding the other's stare. She would try to look from time to time but it would only cause her red face to become redder.
Juliet let out a cough, catching the taller's attention. The other's eyes widen, causing her to stop shaking and stiffen at the noise.
The shorter just cooed at the taller. So adorable. She then smiled, took the taller's hands and faced her once again. "Though it's a little sudden to say this but," she herself was blushing now. She went down on one knee looked at the taller again "will you be my beloved?" She continued, giving a warm smile to the taller.
Being surprised would be an understatement to describe what she was feeling right now. All this time the shorter returned her feelings. And she didn't even know. The taller wanted to cry, she used every bit of strength she has just to stop it. Kiara blushes even more. Unable to find the right words to respond. Her dream was finally becoming a reality. Finally belonging to the other and vice versa. All she could do was stutter and smile like a fool. "Y-yes!" She answered. The shorter then stood up and carried the taller, bridal style. Showering the other with soft kisses. The two giggling like idiots, exchanging 'I love you's until Juliet finally placed Kiara down.
She took the taller's hand and kissed it again. Juliet then took the hand holding onto it tightly, never letting go. "I love you so much my dear" she said "I love you too" Kiara responded.
The taller hoped this wasn't a dream. Never wanting to let go of the love of her life's hand. They went back to their classrooms. Still smiling like idiots.
