Mornings. We either hate them or love them. I was always a twighlight person myself. Oddly enough today, I was up at 5 am. Not very good since I need to get back on a regular sleep schedule. Too late now I guess. I have until 12:34 pm to be ready, so I guess I should keep packing my final bag.

Did I mention that I'm going to start Highschool tomorrow? I'm going to attend Sunset Academy of Magic and Arts. People call it SA, but I'd prefer Sunset Academy. It has a lower acceptance rate than other schools, but there are lower. Sunset Academy is like a boarding school, but less strict and rules. Most highschools here are schools with dorms. So it's normal to see one like that.

Anyways, I should stop rambling and continue to pack. I've got 3 bags for this semester. One for clothes, one for school supplies and power class supplies, and the last one isn't fully packed, but it's for my dorm. It's going to have a modern theme, well my side at least. I'm going to end up with a roomate. Hope it's April.

Should probably finish packing. The last thing I need is my tea set. I do prefer tea over coffee, but I do love coffee shops. They're so cozy and they have the scent of coco beans. "NADIA COME DOWN HERE SO WE CAN HAVE OUR LAST BREAKFEST TOGETHER!!"

"UNO MINUTE!!"

Mom is always rushing me around. It gets annoying after 8 years. I'm not 8 by the way, I'm 15. I got held back in 2nd grade for poor attendance and that one health issue (Flu virus went around and I had it without knowing and caused a school epidemic. Got in trouble for causing harm to the health of others) . I didn't have many people I was close with at first, but when I met April in 3rd grade, everything changed. Oh yeah my tea set! Where did I- FOUND IT.

Placing it in by final bag, I was finished packing. This was hard to belive. Grabbing my bags, I raced downstairs. Placing my bags near the door, I walked to the table. Mom was sitting down when she gave me a weird look. "Sweety....um...your clothes..."

"wait wh- OH CRAP!"

I was in my regular clothes. I had to put on my uniform. Little fact about the school, each power class has its own uniform. Since I have Celestial powers, I get the Space themed uniform. It's practically identical to Lele's outfit in my favorite anime, Space Sparkle Girls. It's a magical girl anime. Her outfit looks like this:

She's so cute!!! After a quick change, I finally was able to eat breakfast. Dad had left for work already, so he made pancakes before he left. He knows me more than myself. They are, and will always be delicious. Mom waddled in when I had my last pancake. "You couldn't wait even one minute?"

"Nope!! You made me waste time so I had to get revenge."

She sat down and started eating while I got up to wash my plate. It was close to 10:50, so I went and FaceTimed April. She had to of been at her mom's house since she was in her human form. Did I mention she was a mermaid-human? Her dad is the king of the oceans, so she is also royalty. Don't tell her I told you that. Oh and her powers are Oceanic.

"Oh Nadia! I didn't know you would call me. I'm almost ready. Our uniform is kind of weird."

"Yeah, mine is cool!!"

Her uniform was not weird! It was adorable! Here is a picture:

"Looks way more comfy than mine. Anyways, you got your dorm and course theme?" I asked. Our themes for our courses, and somewhat our dorms, will reflect our futures in this universe. I get to take a ton of barista and mixology classes, since I want to own a coffee shop. And business classes, which will be boring.

"You know I'm going to be a nephologist (Study of clouds- yes its real and I looked it up), so my room is going to have a sunrise fading to sunset theme."

We continued going on and on about our future school lives. It was close to 12:24 when we hung up. Mom helped me with my bags and walked me to the door. "I-I'm going to miss you Nadds. I'll be alone in this house for awhile, and once the babies come...I-I just wish you could see them before you left." she whispered.

My mom, by the way, is 8 months pregnant. I'm going to be the big sister to twins. We don't know the genders yet, but I'm hoping for two little brothers.

"I know, but I'll try and take some time off to see them when they are born, okay?"

I said goodbye to the twins, and to mom. Putting on my backpack, and carrying my other two, I walked out the house. The walk to the bus stop was close to being a mile away from my house. April was two miles away, so her mom drove her a mile, and had her walk the rest. She must of left earlier than me, cause once I arrived at the bus stop, she attacked me with a hug. "NADDDSS!!!"

"what the fresh fu-"

"READY FOR SCHOOL?"

"I guess so at this point!"

That bus was 4 minutes later than we expected. I mean, it looked very nice. It was our sector's freshmen bus. We were the last stop on that bus. A middle-aged woman was driving that bus. "Nadia Fields....April Wanale, welcome to the SA busses. Put your big bags in the back, and bring your backpacks on the bus."

I don't think they seemed too friendly, but we did as she told us. As we got on, there was a instant drain of our magic powers from us. Must be a safety thing. We sat next to each other. There was a girl in front of us trying to vlog, and another girl behind us, that was half passed out. From what I could see, there were mostly guys, and a few girls. Typical.

"ALRIGHT KIDS...this was our last stop! We are now heading to the school through portals. Hold on to the rails."

This was a feature in all vehicles. Our universe is divided in sectors. The fastest way to travel was always by portal. To do so, there are built-in rails to keep us from flying into the darkness and void of space. Grabbing on, April and I smiled. Our adventure has just begun.
