PROJECT CELESTE
A top-secret operation funded by the U.S. government in order to retrieve a lost satellite from a small planet orbiting approximately 308,352,000 miles away from Earth. Aboard the ship are two personnel: a former Air Force lieutenant specialized in aerospace and mechanical engineering, and an optimistic botanical scientist in charge of keeping the ship's livelihood in operation for the next four years.

DAY FOUR
08:23, UTC
LOG 13 - OPERATIVE LUNA
Transmission begin. Awoke early last night (in relative terms; there is no sunrise) to a small cluster of asteroids the ship drove through. Able to direct us away from the storm and there have been no critical flags raised by the autopilot, but have yet to assess the outer hull to see the full extent of the damage. Later will be sending the drone out to determine any repairs that must be done. Yet to speak with Solis but I would presume he is awake and in the gardens. We are beginning to run low on—
A crackle comes in through the transmitter. Distracted, Luna halts her live update to pick up the incoming signal.
"Luna here, who am I speaking with?" she barks into the mouthpiece clutched in her hand.
Someone sighs in disappointment. "Lewinsky, again. Enough with the novel updates, Lieutenant, we aren't paying you per word. The logs are supposed to be about the ship's condition, technical matters, mechanical problems you catch and fix, etcetera. We need to have a record going in case there are any issues in the future, we'll have something to refer back to. And make sure Solis is keeping up too, we haven't heard from him in three days. Understand?"
