Maeve's Pov:

I squeeze her hand I lead her up to my bedroom.
We arrive and sit down on my bed and i par beside me she says
"Won't people be looking for us?"
I shrug and says
"I don't care I want to get to know my mate" She smiles and sits next to me i say
"tell me about yourself"
"So im the daughter of the strongest pack in America and the guy im supposed to marry the week after my eighteenth birthday turns out to have a girlfriend and his sister is my mate"
I chuckle and says
"But I am the more attractive sibling"
she nods and says
"Tell me about yourself"
"Well I've known I was gay from the get go I've saved myself for you though don't worry. My family know I'm gay but they act like it isn't a thing and still ask me if I've found my MALE mate yet which is a no because my mate just so happens to be the most beautiful girl who also happens to be the girl who is meant to marry my younger brother who has a girlfriend" she smiles and rests her head on my shoulder and says
"You smell good. Like cherry and Coconut" I smile and say
"You smell like vanilla and coffee how did you know I like both of this things?" She giggles and says
"Vanilla is my shower gel and coffee is an addiction of mine" she lays down and I follow her actions and I grab her hand and intertwine our finger and I pull her hand up to my mouth and kiss it. She turns her head to look at me and says
"You're beautiful" I feel he blush creep on my face and I turn my head to look at her and I say
"So are you"
I lean in slightly and so does she. Some one bursts through the door and says
"Ah there you two are! It's cake time"
I look up and I see my mother stood there she looks at our hands and says
"Is she your mate?"
I nod slightly and look down slightly not wanting to see her reaction. She jumps and I look and I see her smiling widely and says
"I won the bet"
"Bet?"
"Oh me and your father made a bet that your mate would be a girl and I won because our mate is a girl and also happens to be the girl Carlos was supposed to marry but now that will be you" Jordan sits ho and says
"Will my dad be okay with it?" My mom says
"Oh he knew Maeve was gay and was perfectly okay with it so I would assume so" she smiles and I stand and hold my hand out to pull my Love up she takes it and she stand and I i her wine our fingers and we walk out of my room behind my mother.
Walking down the stairs we get looks of confusion but I don't care my smile is wide and so is Jordan's. I see Jordan's Parents walk over with my dad and my mom says
"I won the bet Marco! You owe me two hundred dollars my jaw drops and I say"
"You guys bet two hundred dollars on me! I think I deserve the money it is my birthday after all" my mom rolls her eyes and says
"Fine"
I smile triumphantly Alpha Derrick says
"What's going on?"
Jordan smiles even wider if possible and says
"I found my mate! Now I don't have to marry Carlos and we both get what we want! You get to join our packs and I get a mate" Alpha Derrick and Kate smile and pull her in for a family hug I smile and say
"Cake time?"
The lights dim and my soon to be Beta Carter walks out with a rainbow cake. I laugh and say
"You can to make the cake rainbow! I love it"
Everyone starts singing happy birthday and I go red from embarrassment but that goes away when I feel Jordan's arm slip around my waist
