>> Ninth Chapter <<

Louis looked up and gave a tired smile as he grabbed the flowers from wherever the hell he keeps them behind the counter. He still had a bandage over his cut but he probably has replaced the bandage already, it was still the same color of blue Harry had picked. Which made Harry smile.

"I brought you some coffee" Harry says as he sets the coffee down on the counter. "To help wake you up..." he says.

"Thanks..." Louis says before yawning. Picking up the drink, Harry watches as Louis takes short gulps. Harry thinks it's weird that he's watching the way Louis drinks his coffee, but that won't stop him from watching this scene in front of him.

Harry grabs the flowers as Louis finishes his drink, wiping off the cream he had on his lip. He set down his empty coffee cup and looked at Harry.

"I needed that" Louis states with a grin.

Harry then gives him a smile as he set down the money on the counter before exiting the shop.

These events occured again and again for the rest of the weeks. Harry would go to work or wherever, and after that; he'd go to the coffeeshop across the street from where Louis works via his motorcycle. He'd get coffee for Louis, even though he hates standing in line, and goes to the flowershop. To him, Louis was worth it anyway. All the annoying and posh customers at the shop, the few people in line with him, even all the stares he got from people.

Weekends have come and gone, Harry did his usual routine. Waking up the same time as everyday, doing his morning rituals, going off on his motorcycle and heading to where he always does.

A month had now passed; Harry and Louis were starting to become friends. At least that's what Harry thinks they are at the moment. They don't know much about each other. Actually, they don't know anything about each other at all.

Except now, Harry knows that Louis only lives across the street from him. He knows this because he just went there on the weekend he and Louis sort of shopped for groceries together. Besides that, they haven't really spoken or met up elsewhere but the flowershop. Oh, and that one time by the dark alley.

It was now Friday and Harry had just left Mrs. Wright's house. Harry does a lot of stuff to earn extra money, whatever it takes. Some jobs he considered to be really shameful. But he actually finds doing yardwork and shit to be okay.

Starting up his motorcycle, Mrs. Wright waved goodbye through her window as he sped off. Time to see Louis, not before going to buy coffee of course.

"Hey Louis..." Harry said as he entered the shop. The annoying bell signaling his presence.

But Harry was surprised to see that it wasn't Louis who was working the register; it was that stupid bitch who worked on weekends intead who was there. He almost drops the coffee in surprise....almost.

"Where's Louis?" Harry asks.

The bitch was filing her nails, she looks up with a bewildered expression on her face.

"Where's who-wee?" she questions.

Harry already wants to start looking for ducktape right there and then.

"I said...where's Louis." he repeats himself, clearly irritated. But once again, the dumb whore was cluelessly staring at him. "You know, the lad who works here on weekdays?" he tries.

Suddenly, she has a look of realization on her face. "Oh, that Lewis guy?" she states. Harry wants to smack her stupid face for saying Lewis. "Yeah, I don't know..." she says uninterestedly with a shrug, resuming her nail filing.

Harry has had enough by then, he lets out a groan of aggravation as he just sets the coffee down on the counter rather harshly.

Harry then proceeds to tell her that he wants to buy white Carnations with Asters.

Then, blondie looks back at him with a raised brow. "That for me?" she says as she looks at the cup of coffee. She bats her eyelashes at him, obviously trying to flirt with Harry yet again.

"Just give me my damn flowers..." Harry says, clearly losing his patience.

Once Harry had done everything he needed to do, he went to a random bench which was just outside the Sparkle and Bloom flowershop. He went all the way here, after he ran errands, just to see if Louis would already be there by now. Turns out, he wasn't.

It was already half past five and only a few minutes were left 'til the sun would set.

Harry was slightly getting worried right then and there. He couldn't stop thinking of all the possibilities why Louis hadn't gone to work.

So, Harry stood up and mounted his motorcycle which he parked at the curb a while ago. Starting it up, he then began to head off. Harry was on his way to see Louis.
