Sometimes in life you never see things coming.
You never really know how quickly things can change or how jurassic those changes will be.
Shit on this planet is crazy, and guess what, I'm going to tell you about it.

Three months ago my girlfriend Sam cheated on me with my best friend. What a great surprise to start off my summer.
Since her and I lived with each other, I moved in with my sister. We live in a mostly rural area in southern Michigan.
You see, my breakup with Sam was difficult for me. Her and I had our whole future planned out. We'd been together almost four years and I was planning to propose to her.
I could barely focus on things at home anymore, work, sleeping, the few hobbies I have, nothing. Not really sure what the hell I did wrong, but I obviously got too boring for her.
My sister noticed the change in me, she knows me better than anyone. She suggested that I go on a vacation to get some time to myself and forget about everything that's been happening.
At first I thought it was completely crazy, I knew I had work and wouldn't be able to take vacation time off, but then I saw a fellow coworker take a few days off and I thought I might have a small chance if I asked my boss.
After a lot of considering, I finally decided I'd just care for myself for once and go on the trip.
Asking my boss went fine and I have a whole three weeks off. My boss and I are friends, so he understands.

So now I'm here, getting off a plane in Los Angeles (near Long Beach). The plane station was loud and booming with scattered conversation. I went to the parking-lot to find the Uber I called.
I looked around and found the dark blue SUV Crossover.
When I got in the car smelled new, I checked the time on my phone.
"Damn, it's already ten o'clock."
I saw a middle aged man shoot me a look through the mirror.
"Noah?" He asked, hoping I was the right person.
I nodded at him as I buckled my seatbelt and texted my sister.

Me: Hey, just landed. In the Uber.
Sarah: Great! I'm really glad you took some time off to treat yourself, have fun with all those California babes ;)
Me: Whatever, love you
Sarah: Love you too idiot

Eventually we arrived at my hotel. I thanked the driver, tipped him, and hopped out, grabbing my luggage from the trunk.
I wheeled my stuff into the hotel, which I have to admit was very fancy. It had tall hedges that were crisp and trimmed all around the brick stone pathway. I walked inside and instantly smelled all the dinner foods from the kitchen just down the hall. The lobby was lined with couches and chairs that looked pretty expensive.
I walked to the counter and told them my name and my stay length and that I had a reservation . They handed me my key card.
Walking to my room was confusing, I was on the third floor and there were many rooms. My room was 102-B.
When I finally found my room I had trouble opening the damn door, the key card was cheap and flimsy, which surprised me knowing that this hotel is probably about five starts. My sister booked the stay for me and she always wants the best.
I walked in my room, it was extremely nice.
It had a light blue and sea-foam green themed living area. The bathroom and mini kitchen were the same.
I walked into the bedroom, which was themed dark blue and a darkish jade color.
I dropped my luggage on the floor and crashed onto the bed face first, shoes still on my feet.
I'll unpack tomorrow.

The next morning I woke up with a horrible neck pain from sleeping how I did. It wasn't that bad because i was mostly focusing on how fucking hungry I was because I hadn't ate since before the plane landed.
I hadn't bought any food for the room yet so I made my way to the kitchen after pissing and getting dressed.
In the kitchen it seemed classical and it was fancy as hell, almost too fancy for being just a place to eat.
I made myself toast and went back to my room mid-eating it.
When I got back I took a few hours to completely unpack and get used to everything.

After unpacking I had nothing to do and still needed to go get a rental car. After that, I figured I might go to the beach and enjoy the boardwalk.

((After getting the rental, at the beach))

I walked up to drink stand on the beach and took a seat, asking for a water bottle.
The guy handed it to me with a smile.
I thanked him.
I got up and began walking down the boardwalk, looking out at the afternoon sky above the glistening ocean. It was so beautiful I couldn't take me eyes off it until..
Bam!
I fell to ground and looked up to see a girl around my age sitting on the ground rubbing her forehead.
I jumped onto my feet and held my hand out to her.
"Jesus, I'm so sorry. I'm such an idiot I didn't even look at where I was going.." I said, disappointed in myself.
The girl looked up at me and our eyes locked together. Now, instead of not being able to take my eyes off of the sea, I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
She was fucking gorgeous.
She had long wavy strawberry blonde hair tied up into a semi-loose ponytail. She was wearing a blue bathing suit top that complimented her blue eyes and little shorts and some flip flops, which had come off when she fell.
She grabbed my hand and I carefully pulled her up, shifting my focus onto her hourglass figure.. and her breasts. I felt my face turn red and I instantly stopped myself.
The girl looked down at her left knee, which was scraped up a bit from falling.
"Oh.. I'm so sorry.. I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking an-" I started to ramble until I got cut-off.
"Don't worry about it, I wasn't paying attention either. I'm sorry." She said in a soft, light voice with a smile.
To be honest, this girl was adorable.
"No no, no need to apologize. I guess it was both of our fault's." I said laughing.
She laughed along with me.
The girl bent down to grab her sandals and put them back on her feet, along with grabbing her wallet. I caught myself looking at her boobs once again. This time I didn't stop myself right away. She had such a cute face and an amazing figure, I just couldn't help myself. I knew my face was getting red.
"Hey.. my name is Isabelle by the way." She said standing back up straight, shooting that beaming smile at me.
"I-I'm Noah." I said, still a bit flustered from just looking at her.
"Nice to mee-" Isabelle started saying until she got cut off.
"BELLE!" A voice called from not far behind us.
"Oh, that's my sister, I have to meet her." She said as she began running off.
"Bye!" She exclaimed.
And then there I was, basically standing in awe still thinking about her.

I can't believe I didn't ask for her number..

The sun was setting and I knew I should head back to the hotel soon.
I walked to my car and got it.
The whole drive back I couldn't stop thinking aboutYeah Isabelle. I'm not sure why, but my mind was racing.
During the drive I passed a small bar/diner that looked nice-ish. I thought about how I had nothing to do later in the night, so I figured I might go there, sounds fun.
