Marinette's POV
Two years.
That's how long it's been. That's how long it's been without the warmth of his bright smile in this house. That's how long it's been without the cute snores emitted when he sleeps. That's how long it's been... since...
"MOMMY!"
My thoughts were interrupted by a shrill yell from down the hall.
"Hugo sweetie are you ready?" I call, hoisting myself up to go check on my son.
"I can't. Tie. My. Laces." he says panting as he tries to reach over to tie them. "It's too hard," he whines.
I chuckle softly to myself.
"How 'bout I teach you a little trick big guy?" His watery eyes go wide with curiosity as he furiously nods his head.
"Ok, you see what I'm doing? Right, two little bunny ears and," It's moments like these that make me happy the most without him by my side. Little moments teaching him simple things like this or just being with my son, in general, is what makes me happy. I love him with all my heart.
"Ok time to go see your sister at the park yeah?" I exclaimed, holding my hand out for him as he got up.
"Yeah!"

On the walk to the park, I look around at all the beautiful autumn leaves swaying in the fall breeze. So much to be inspired by, I'll come up with some new pieces for my fall line for sure. My head's already swirling with ideas. Up ahead, there he is, in all his glory. I can see his messy golden blonde hair from the edge of the sidewalk.
"EMMA!" My son snatches his hand from my grasp and runs towards his sister.
"HUGO! AW C'MERE BUDDY!" Emma says tackling him in a hug.
I make my way over to the bench where he's sitting.
The man who cracked my heart.
The only, the only,
Adrien Agreste.

Adrien's POV
There she is. She's still a breathtaking sight no matter how many times you see her.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
That name still has me on the edge.
She makes her way to the bench I'm sitting on.
"It's been a week they act like they haven't seen each other in years," She says while giggling.
Oh, that sound is still music to my ears.
I'm such a stupid person.
"Well they're siblings what can you expect? Emma needs her brother as much as he needs her." I say allowing myself a slight chuckle.
"How's your week been?" She asks now turning her gaze to me.
"O-oh, me?" I accidentally stutter pointing to myself.
She rolls her eyes, "No the person behind you,"
Stupidly I look behind the bench.
"AH, OH MY GOD YOU FELL FOR IT!" She bursts out laughing, clutching her stomach as she does.
I start laughing too, "I guess I did, I've had a bit of a shaken up week"
"Oh really? What happened?"
"Well, at work yesterday, ugh. You remember Lila, right? Lila Rossi?" I ask my voice full of distaste.
"Oh, her, yeah we've all heard of her." She responds putting emphasizes on the "her".
I let out a chuckle from her facial expression and continue on, "Well she recently signed a modeling contract with Father's business and I was NOT happy about that, She's gonna be all over me and-" I cut myself off from the way she's glaring at me.
"What?"
"YOU'RE GONNA LET HER DRAPE HER NASTY LIMBS ALL OVER YOU??? HOW COULD YOUR DAD DO THAT??? I know he strict but this is absolute torture." She harrumphs and pouts, crossing her arms over her chest.
"How are you mad this? You're, not the one ev-," I stop realizing something. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng," I say with a smirk, "You wouldn't happen to be jealous of her would you?"
She chokes on her saliva while sputtering out something that sounds like a no way.
"What? Me be jealous of that wannabe? Psshh, in your dreams Agreste." She retorts with a wave of her hand.
"Mhmm," I respond, "If you say so," I speak with a smile.
"Hey look, Emma's pushing Hugo on the swing!" I exclaim pointing in the direction our kids were in.
"Aw, so cute, I'm gonna take a video." She squeals.
As she whips her phone out I never take my gaze off her eyes, the childish excitement mixed in with the blue.
"Mari, you're a 29-year-old woman and you still act like a kid." I chortle, leaving her with a cute pout.
"Well, Mr. Smooth it's not my fault our kids are the cutest things on Earth." She playfully rolls her eyes at me.
I saw my chance.
"Well technically it is, you partook in making them," I whisper in her ear.
She lets out a small squeak as she fumbles with her phone to hide her blushing face.
"ADRIEN!" "THAT'S NOT FAIR!" She yells as she attacks me with her sketchbook. I get up and start running away from my attacker. I laugh as she attempts to chase me with her angry sketchbook.
Ah, this is why I like weekends.

So what'd you guys think? This is the book I plan to enter in the MLWatty's and this is the book I'm gonna focus on finishing. My one-shot book might be updated everyone in a while and my art and announcement books will also be updated sometimes. But the rest of my books will be on hold. (My cover shop will be open don't worry). Anyway, that's all that you needed to know except for the fact that MIRACULOUS LADYBUG EPISODES HAVE BEEN DELAYED! There I was, sitting with all the release dates and so far they've all been true, but then you come to Aminaestro and the other 3, (Bakerix, Silencer, and Onichan) AND THEY DON'T COME OUT!!! I'm sitting here waiting for the next episode, my patience depleting my the day, and Wattpad's pretty much the only thing keeping me going.
Anyway,
Bye my peaches, (tbh I need to come up with a better thing to call you guys, what do you want to be called?
