I got my stuff, and left. That was that. I no longer worked there. I could guess a couple reasons why he'd fire me. As I was leaving the building I bumped into Chris. "Woah! You alright?" He reaches out to touch my shoulder and I jerk away and turn to face him. "I'm. Fine. Ok? Im fine.." I start get choked up as I turn away from him, I start walking faster toward the entrance of the real-estate building. I rush to my car, fumbling with the keys that I pull out of my pocket. I unlock my car door and get in, throwing my box into the back of my car, everything spills all over the place. I gripped my steering wheel and rested my head on it. I sobbed for 15 minutes, my eyes red and puffy and irritated. "Fuck..FUCK!!" I slammed my hands on my steering wheel. I started up my small red Toyota and drove home. On the way there, I stopped at the store and grabbed a big bag of chips , Oreos, and tissues. As the lady behind the cash register rung up my items, and I was drumming up small talk with her, I thought I heard a familiar voice. I turned around to see the source of the voice and saw him. I couldn't help but stare. It appeared that I had been staring a bit to long because he caught my glance with his hazel eyes and smiled at me. The hairs on my neck stood up and I turned back to the lady at the register, gave her my cash, took my groceries and left. I got to my car and put my groceries in. I got in the front seat and drove the rest of the way home home.
