Chapter 1# the awakening

(late that night) 

it was a cold and Stormy night in Megakat city.... the wind was howling.... the roads flooding with water and tree branches tussling from the wind.....deep in a forest by a cliftside of an old mineshaft was a rotting cottage and within the mine was gold,silver and a million of jewels embedded in the natural earth but down one path.... it wasn't normal.... let down on a path covered in gold to a hidden meadow underground with an alter of rotten apples,jewelry,beautiful bottles and mirror was a glass coffin...... 

As the moon and the sun lined creating an Eclipse black as the night... the coffin began to glow dark red,white and black....! breaking apart the magic seal upon the coffin.... it slowly slip open......a rat ran past the coffin..but didn't make it..for a bony.... long and skeleton like hand with pure black nails grabbed the rat and with its last cries....the rats neck was broken and the sound of slurping  and  sucking came from the coffin......then the sounds tearing and ripping echoed threw the cave....with a large splatter of blood hitting the mirror ..making it glow an evil purple hue..... 

(morning)

It was late in the morning when Jake saw the first rays of sunlight... knowing it was the same shit different day...especially when it came to be a secret crime fighter. as he woke up and got dressed he was wondering alot in life... thankfully it was there day off... so he decided to wash and brush his ginger fur and hair he dressed in a black T-shirt with his green cargo pants and searched for something in his closet. "Jake!!?! you up!?! I made coffee! " the tall buff blond tom-kat walked still wearing his kat Comando Pj's . "almost ready buddy !" Jake said pulling out his hiking boots and placing them onto his feet "um..... Jake? you going to rob a museum or something? " Chance asked handing him his coffee... "No...I'm going hiking...today seems like a good day to do it." 

" you sure its a good idea...? wouldn't you rather be where its air conditioned...? " 
"says the kat who watches Kat comando.... nice pj's..." 
"dammit!" Chance said ..Jake was right it did seem like a good day to go hiking... "SIGH fine...but I'm coming with you...in case you get into trouble" he said sipping his coffee...hoping he won't be regretting it....

(earlier that day ) 

"Chance !!! hurry up!!! "

"Jake!!! Slow down!!! " 

"slow down!! you learn to speed up! " He called out as he jogged from the tow truck to the forest. taking in the sight of the pine and oak trees and the squirrels running down the path. taking a deep breath of the warm air. He adored the environment ... especially the flowers and creatures around him . " You gotta admit Bud...this is beautiful... " he smiled as he climbed over a log . " yea.. not pretty as the graphic's in space kat but pretty ." he said almost distastefully as  he swatted the insects around him. he kept shooing the bugs away until he bumped into the slender small tom. "OPHF!! hey bud why did you stopped?" he looked over seeing an old rotting cottage in the darker parts of the forest from the far.... 

"come on!! is the great pilot T-Bone afraid of a little forest ?" he teased while walking deeper into the forest. "I'm not scared!!! don't even dare to think that I am!" he said as he ran to catch up to him.  as the looked Chance seemed curious on the cottage and old tools of the mine.....

"these haven't been touched in a while....possibly centuries old..." picking up one of the tools studying it closely reading out all the names" Ruby,Obsidian,Topaz,Ore,Jade,Pearl and Sapphire... ? odd names....each one a stone....? Hey Jake!!! check this out!?!?! Jake....? Jake......? " he looked around and noticed a light dimming light in the mines and ran!" wait for me!!"

(Jake's Pov)

I can't believe it! I never thought Chance would agree to hiking but hey! look at this mine! " I can't believe how many jewels and ores are still in here..... " as I kept walking my flashlight traveled down a golden pathway down another tunnel..... luckily Chance came in "Jake!!! your not gonna believe what I found!!!! I found Mi-" "mining tools....? " "yes!!" he said...as he took out his own flashlight..." Check this out bud!!! a golden pathway..." starting to go down it as I decided to marvel at all the sparkling gold and silver veins even the jewels ... " this mine must of belonged to them.....I wonder why it was paved in go-" I stopped.... and I swore I felt my blood run cold.... 

"Chance....." 
it was an underground meadow.....full of flowers and an apple tree..... but ....what made my blood run cold....was a glass coffin covered in dust in cobwebs.....near an alter.... was a large mirror with many perfumes even...  "I think I understand why they did that path...." 

"creepy....." he said in a shivering voice of fear. "they really must of cared for this kat if they left so many gifts in here for her " I looked over seeing the seal was broken in three and Chance collecting the pieces...possibly for studying... "odd.....this looks like it was recently opened...." I stopped Chance before he moved it! "Chance Don't!!! let them rest in peace.... " I gathered some of the apples and flowers from the growth and put some on the alter....then opened the coffin carefully and put some apples into the coffin with the snow lilies. 

"rest in peace.... OWW!!" I jerked back my hand fast! 

"Jake!!! " Chance gabbed my hand to check it" "I'm fine bud...! its just a scratch ...I probably grazed it .." I tore off a part of the bottom of my shirt and wrapped my hand with it... "lets get your hand checked out.....that might get infected buddy "he was right who knows how old this place was ...." okay ...lets get going...."I looked back at the coffin... " rest in peace " 

(late that night)unknown Pov.

that blood tasted so....good...... as that sun setted I finally could rise...."mmmm.........what a wonderful century old nap........." I smelled new scents and the apples and flowers on my alter.... it wasn't touched in a while " two tom kats have been in here..... huh....? "I smelled the blood on my hand and tasted it........it was AB+....a rare blood type....I then started to remember the voices and the one tom kat " ahhh.............a potential suitor....... " I cleaned my mirror and smirked at its dark aura....."Mirror....Mirror on my alter and awaken without a falter .....here me now obey my call..... who's the fairest of them all.....?" 

a dark aura glowed and I saw my beloved female friend in my mirror ....

"for she has awaken from her century sleep......her blood red lips lovely but bitter sweet.....skin of snowy death...... ebony black hair of her lovely night.... the fairest is you...fair Snow White..... welcome back my queen " 

I smiled my sweet smile...." mirror tell me who's blood did I lick off ? this suitor..... "suddenly she showed me an image of a bedroom and I saw a handsome tomkat...but....he was no kat I've ever seen before..especially he fur color ..... and his amber eyes..... 

" his name is Jake Clawson my Queen..... he's a rare ginger aristocat breed....but he has no wealth.....he's a peasant....." he reminded me ......so much of my late husband " he looks so...similar to my husband Autumn............so...Jake Clawson....... soon we shall meet..... Mirror...begin educating me on the new world......" he will be mine.....
