As I let the cold, English breeze brush against my cold cheeks, I walked out the school gates.

I let a warm tear slip down my cheeks, as I thought about memories with Hayes. We were so close, but he had to move to North Carolina to see family. He's staying there forever. F O R E V E R.

I walked my route home, slamming my front door as I entered the heated house. Silence. It would of been filled with mine and Hayes giggles a few weeks ago.

I got into my room and went onto my phone. I unlocked it and clicked 'Twitter'. I went down my news feed as I saw something that caught my eye.

Hayes Grier:

It was a picture of him a blonde girl. It's tagged too. Her name is Jordan. I started to tear as the picture was of him kissing her cheek. TOP bestie. He hasn't answered my texts/calls/face times either. I bet he's with her.

I went downstairs to see a note.

'Hey! It's mum! We're going to see Hayes in North Carolina in August! Booked the flights! Just at work but couldn't wait to tell you! Mum x'
