2 months later-----

I packed my last bikini. Today was the day we were leaving to go to America to see Hayes again. I'm too scared to meet him and his girlfriend. Oh and Jordan was his girlfriend. Just when I was going to tell him my feelings, he had to go and do that. Well that's what it said on her page on twitter. But I don't think so.

I zipped up my suitcase and headed downstairs.

"Hurry up! We'll be late for the plane if we're not there two hours ahead to get checked in!" My mum rushed.

"Mum! We still have 15 minutes and it takes 10 to get there! It will be fine if we're 3 minutes late!" I calmed her. Wrong decision.

"But what if we don't get in on time?! Get in the taxi with your luggage! Hurry!"

"Okay." I sighed.

Plane ride------

I was sat next to the window with an older couple. They were about 40-50 years old. They fell asleep and I needed a wee. I held it in and fell asleep after a while. I woke up being told to buckle up. I looked out the window until I saw we were landing. I grabbed my bag and found my mum. We got to baggage claim and got all our suitcases.

We met the Grier's at Starbucks. All I heard was 'JODIE!!'

"Skylynn!!"

She ran over and I hugged her picking her up.

"How've you been princess?"

"I missed you!"

"I missed you more!"

"Nuh-huh!"

"Yuh-huh!"

Everyone else was in there own conversation. Expect for Hayes. We locked eyes for a second then I pulled away. No way was I going to fall even more for my best friend.

"Hey Jodie!"

Oh god. Why me?

"Hey Hayes..."

"How have you been?"

"Good how about you?"

"Great!"

"I know with your new girlfriend..." I mumbled hoping he didn't hear.

"I don't have a girlfriend"

"Yeah and I'm Beyoncé"

"I don't!"

"Sure thing."

Just as Hayes was about to speak, someone broke the silence.

"Hey Jodie! I missed you!"

I was being hugged and picked up. Nash.

"Hey Nash! I missed you more!"

"Or nah?"

I giggled. "Or yah?"

He put me down. "I wish we stayed in England."

"I wish you did too."

He laughed. "Let's go back now."

We went over to the adults who told us we were staying at there's and going now.

When we got to there house I was amazed.

"Woah." I breathed out.

"It's stunning right?" Nash spoke.

"Yes!"

He grinned.

We got inside and I was in a room with Hayes. UGH. I had a little sister who was a year younger than Skylnn called Rose who was in Skylnn's room. My older brother who was 18 called Austin was staying in Nash's room. And me, in a room with Hayes. I'm thankful there's separate beds.

"So... You wanna go in the pool?" Hayes spoke up.

"Sure..." I mumbled. I went and got my black bikini that has a blue leopard top and black bottoms. I went to the bathroom to get changed. As soon as I got down there. I jumped in the pool. I heard a manly laugh behind me. It was Hayes.

"Already having fun?"

"Yeah, when's your girlfriend coming over?"

I saw no emotion on his face. One kind of showed, anger.

"I told you, I don't have a girlfriend."

"Then why did she say your together?"

"Who?"

"Jordan."

"OH MY GOD! We're friends! She's been telling everyone were together when we're not!"

"Why not? She's beautiful and seems very kind."

"Because I like someone else."

"Another American girl I guess?"

"No, you..."

"W-w-what?"

"I like you. Scratch that. I love you. I have since I can remember."

"I-I love you too."

He grinned.

"But it won't work."

"W-why?"

"Long distance. It's never worked for me."

"Please... Just give it a try."

"No... I-I'm sorry Hayes. I just c-can't."

I got out the pool and went to the bathroom. I got into the shower and tried to calm down. I can't believe I rejected my only proper crush.
