The silence was unbearable.
"Where had Ellie been?"
"Is she ok?"
"What actually happened?"
A million questions flooded their brains as Ellie casually put on her seatbelt.
"Where were you Ellie?" Jamie pondered in his icy and sharp tone.
"Oh I went outside to get you some flowers to say sorry for earlier." Ellie replied embarrassed and shaken a bit by his icy tone.
"Oh Ellie," he sighed his expression softening," you know there won't be any flowers in this weather.
"Are you ok?" Lottie asked clearly sick with worry.
"I'm fine," she smiled," I guess when I was searching for the flowers I just umm.... got lost."
"Umm...ok." Jamie and Lottie replied simultaneously both of them not convinced in the slightest.
