Your P.O.V

Diane walked outside of the tavern. We are looking for the Baste Dungeon. That's where Ban is. We already made it clear that I'll go and get him since I can sense and smell his scent. It's far but it feels close.

We had to stop unfortunately, because Captain had fainted. We rushed him to a doctor. The nearest one we could find. We found a guy around the age of his late 30's or possible early 40's. He treated Captain.

Or so we thought.

It was poison and he said that he would not be able to wake up.

"Tch. Filthy mortal." I said as I cracked my knuckle.

A Holy Knight appeared out of nowhere.

I looked at him with a bored face as he introduced himself. He then attempted to take Elizabeth back.

The talking pig, Hawk, was kicked and bounced around like a ball.

Now he is attempting to take Meliodas' weapon.

"You shouldn't do that." I warned him.

"Or what? This weapon and the Princess are coming with me!" He said as Meliodas let go of the sword.

As soon as he did, he got up with spectacular speed and took a hold of his weapon once more.

That's when I walked out. He got Captain angry and I don't wanna see it and so I walked back to the tavern and went to sleep in the tavern.

I eventually woke up to the sounds of cheering and a familiar voice.

"CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG!!" I heard.

I walked down the steps and saw Ban and Captain drinking their hearts out. Ban was cheering him on and Captain was drinking until the barrel was empty.

I sighed and chuckled as I walked over to Elizabeth.

"How long have I been asleep?" I asked.

"5 hours." She answered.

"Hm. Seems like my regular nap time." I said.

Captain then finished the barrel and looked up. His gaze landing on me and Elizabeth.

"Oh hey Y/n!" He cheered.

That triggered Ban to look back. When his eyes landed on me, I blushed.

"Hey Ban." I waved.

"Y/n." He said.

He stood up and ran towards me. Engulfing me in a hug.

"Dammit." I cursed.

"I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!!" He exclaimed.

"Geez you're such of a child." I chuckled.

He put me down and smirked.

"Not only did I miss that lovely attitude of yours, I also missed your cooking. But mostly you in general." He said the last part quietly.

I smiled.

"Yeah. You've got your own cooking skills too ya know." I said while elbowing him.

"Yeah yeah. I just like eating you...your cooking...yeah. Cooking." He said.

I thought I hallucinated but I shrugged it off and me and Ban continued to talk.

"Now we have to find King, Merlin, Gowther, and Escanor." I said.

"Yea pretty much." Ban said.

"Hey uh, Sir Ban. Have you...have you ever, been in love?" Elizabeth asked.

He looked at Elizabeth for a moment and looked out the window.

Elaine. He's gonna talk about Elaine.

"I have. I am right now. My first love-"

I walked in my room and decided to think. I'm not listening to that story. It breaks my heart and makes me feel guilty.

I can't deal with it. Not that.

"Why can't he realize my feelings? Is he that dense?" I asked myself.

I heard a knock at the door. I looked towards it and saw through it. I saw Ban with a cover and pillow.

I tilted my head and opened the door.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Uh. The captain said that, I could share a room with ya." Ban said.

I surpressed a blush and let him in.

"I suppose. But just know that if you even think about pushing me out of the bed, I will torture you slowly and then make sure that you'd wish you could die and beg for me to kill you." I said.

Ban only sweated and gave no response.

I giggled and jumped in my bed. I sighed as i stared at the ceiling.

"Good to see ya again Y/n." Ban said.

"Same to you Ban." I said.

That's when our conversation ended and we sat in silence.

"Sooo. What have you been up to before the Captain got you?" Ban asked.

"Nothing really. I just kept training myself and got stronger. I kept my sacred treasure safe. I just lived my life for the past 10 years. Nothing else really." I said.

"Looks like nothin has changed about you. You still have that badass interior, that classy and know it all attitude, and that hot body." He said. The last part he mumbled so I couldn't hear it.

I chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah. I suppose. I haven't really noticed any changes in you though. Your still the cool and badass Ban I've always known." I said.

'And love.' I thought.

It was now Bans turn to chuckle, he moved himself from the chair to on the bed beside me.

"Yeah. But hey, you still missed me." He teased.

I suppressed my blush and looked at him in the eye. I stared at him for about 5 seconds.

"Nah. I don't think I missed you." I smirked.

He had a shocked face and dramatically placed his hand on his forehead with a face full of a fake hurt expression.

"I am very hurt Y/n. Oh woe is me!" I said and fell back onto the bed, pretending to be injured.

I playfully punched him in the arm.

"Oh shut up. I missed you idiot." I said.

He sat up and smirked at me. He smirk faded and it was replaced with a smile.

"I missed you too Y/n. Don't worry i didn't forget about ya!" He said.

"Yeah yeah. Whatever." I said.

I was turned to face him and we met direct eye contact. His eyes held a serious expression and they stared into my non-existent soul.

"I mean it Y/n." He said.

I stared into his eyes and we began to lean in closer, and closer, and closer, until-

"Sir Ban! Miss Y/n! Sir Meliodas is acting strange!" Elizabeth said. Interrupting the moment.

"He's always strange..." I muttered.

I pouted and looked the the left and at the wall, blushing.

'WE ALMOST KISSED!!!'
