Jade POV - 4 Days Later

Me and Lorenzo was sitting in his room as he was explaining to me what he was doing before he got shot. Actually tbh I would have never guessed that he was a drug dealer, would you? I mean I knew he always came home smellin like weed but I thought it was just because he was smoking it.

"And that's basically how I got shot", he said nonchalantly.

"Dang that's fucked up", I said really not knowing what to actually say.

"Yea and them niggas took Sage money, I don't know how I'm bout to pay this mofo back", he said shaking his head and pulling out a blunt and lighting it.

" Renz what are you doing if mama walk in and see you smokin you know she gone kill yo ass", I said tryin to help him.

"Shut up she not even here she left like 15 minutes ago to go grocery shopping", he said with an attitude.

I just stared at him because he was being really stupid right now.

"Whatcha starin at damn", he said irritated.

"Something ugly", I said referring to him.

"I'm not a mirror so gone somewhere", he said trying to be funny.

He was really getting on my nerve so I got up and left his room. Ever since he got back from the hospital he's been extra bitter for no reason. Like nigga gone somewhere just cause you upset don't mean you gotta take it out on everybody else.

I went to the kitchen and the first thing I did was open the fridge. It wasn't shit in there! Then I went to the snack closet and guess what I saw, like seriously I want you to guess (comment your guess)

I didn't see shit, I saw fucking air that's what I saw. I am sooo mad I was really lookin forward to eating my nacho cheese Doritos!

"This some bull", I mumbled to myself and slammed the closet door.
Just as I was about to call my mom the front door opened and I saw her bringing in groceries.

" OMG THAAANK YOUU!", I yelled to my mom as she sat the groceries on the counter.

My mom smirked and shook her head "Go get Lorenzo and tell him to come here", she said and walked out to get more groceries.

I went upstairs and opened the door and saw Lorenzo butt ass naked. I quickly closed the door.

"Omg Renz I'm so sorry I didn't mean to walk in on you", I said in panic mode he was going to kill me when he got out.

"Damn nigga what I tell yo ass about just walkin I my room", he said surprisingly really calm.

"I know I'm sorry, but mama said come here".

"Alr I'll be down in a minute".

I walked back down stairs and my mom had just got done puttin the groceries up.

"What y'all want for dinner?", she asked me.

"I want spaghetti", I said hopping up on the counter to sit.

"I do too", said Lorenzo who was comin down the steps.

"Spaghetti it is then", my mom said taking out the ingredients.

Lorenzo POV

I was higher than a mofo and hungry as fuck. I didn't wanna talk much because I knew if I got to talkin I would say some stupid shit and my mama would realize that I'm high.

I went to the closet and grabbed a bag nacho cheese Doritos. I held the Doritos in one hand as I searched for the hot sauce with the other. I grabbed the hot sauce and tried to sit next to Jade on the counter but, the counter would not stay still like it just kept movin (remember this nigga is just high the counter can't even move). I kept hoppin up there but I just fell on my ass each time I jumped.

Jade POV

Me and my mom was just watchin Lorenzo act a fool. This nigga was within arms reach of the counter, so he stretched his arm out and held on to the count and jumped up and fell straight on his butt. He did this about 3 times then all of a sudden he just started crying.

"Lorenzo what the hell is wrong with you", my mom said going by his side and stooping down to his level since he was sitting on the floor still.

"Nothing", he said wiping his tears and gettin up off the floor.

I knew that Lorenzo was high it was no doubt that he wasn't. His eyes were a little red and his eye lids hung low and the fact that he was acting this way confirmed it.

" Ma I got a question", he said.

"What is it Lorenzo", she said without even caring.

"If I crash into another car on purpose, is it still an accident?", he asked causing me to crack up.

My mom straight faced Lorenzo then he began crackin up too.

"Lorenzo get outta my face right now I can't deal with you", my mom said and Lorenzo grabbed his chips and hot sauce and took it to his room.

"So have you talked to August lately", my mom asked me.

"No actually I've been tryna call him but he hasn't been answering".

"How many times have you actually called", she asked.

"I called a good... 6 times".

"When's the last time y'all talked".

"That night that Lorenzo went to the hospital.", I said kinda sad cause I missed Aug.

"Well why don't you try callin him again and if he answers invite him to eat dinner with us.", My mom suggested.

"Actually that's not a bad idea", I said agreeing with her.

"Do I ever come up with bad ideas", my mom bragged.

"Well..", I said trying to be funny.

"Girl go call August", my mom said in a chuckle and shooed me away.

I got my phone and searched for his contact. I really hope that he answers cause I really do miss him! I stopped at his contact and smiled at his name in my phone. His name was
💏Boyfri🔚🔐 in my phone I thought it was cute because of the emojis he picked. Anyway, I pressed call and it rung twice and went straight to voicemail. Ugh why is he ignoring me!!!

Omg sorry guys I have been gone for so long. Sorry for the short sucky chapter please forgive me!!😔😔😌 Like I really forgot where I was going with this story so I just stopped writing. But I've been working on all my stories lately so if you read any of my other stories, just know I have been working on them and I should update soon.
